Donna Summer was one of my first icons when I was a little girl. I remember asking my mum endlessly to buy the album 'Bad Girls from out local Boots store in our high street. I never got it, but she got me a live concert version of McArthur Park, which was still good. Memories.

Well . . . Im stunned at how good this cover is! Being old enough to remember Donna Summers original in 1979 ive got to say Jay Kays voice is spot on and boy can he move!! He looks like he`s really enjoying himself singing this and so he should be he`s done the song and Miss Summer proud :)

@fandabidosiful He was joking :P. They do use it sometimes but Jay was joking when he said it was because they couldn't do what they want. They can but sometimes they need to add in some strings or something which can't be covered by the keyboards, so they could either hire a string section and teach them all of the songs, or they can use a little bit of backing tape. :)

At 6:35 we hear bass but see Nick walking around in the background not playing. Is this some dodgy editing during production or were they playing to a backing track? This song really does sound too good live so I'm quite dubious! I've played along to this version of Bad Girl but it always sounds like there's something extra going on that I can't put my finger on!
