  • @tagginturf yup... Maybe even more than that

  • Your tank is WAY too small for those fish.

  • Hate those black and white fish. Too damn dominant. Killed ALL of my fish even my Bala sharks

  • getting one of these for my dad for christmas just a baby though .. and maybe a baby oscar any tips? its an 85 gallon

  • I meant plecos not places. Shit.

  • Can the black ghost be kept with 2 small places, one 6 inch tiretrack and one small zigzag?

  • Nice black ghost knife!!!!! They're my favorite, never thought you could have one with oscars?

  • I ust got an oscar in a 30 gallon buut its way to small its still just s baby and I understand I will have to invest in a bigger tank would a 55 gallon be okay for one oscar

  • @Patthew113 You really should go for 75g at least to keep him happy although some may say you can go 55g, you will be doing constant water changes and he would not be happy in that tight a space!!

  • wat do u feed oscars and how old??

  • How many galons is your tank

  • Grat style! But i suggest you get rid of some of the fish! They looked way cramped! Just a suggestion! Please check out mine!

  • the tank is way to crowed they will wind up ganging up on the weakiest fish and envetaully killing them

  • O.o All of those oscars and a ghost knife in a 55Gallon? Super over crowded, they'll end up killing each other off =/

Although your tank is aesthetically pleasing.

  • Love the Oscars but, hate all the fake shit you have in their!

  • wal-mart decorations, just crowding the tank

  • Black Ghost Knife Fish (Apteronotus albifrons) Are Freshwater Fish. Just so you know.

  • i thoug a 55 gallong tank was too small for even 1 oscar?

  • i love the ghost knife... my oscars would kill one If I put it in now...

  • @zmarcusz that's one bad thing about oscars. their aggression. they also crap way too much. they are a gross fish i think. i seen them eat their own crap when there is food particles in it yuck!

  • how do you have oscar fish and Black Ghost knife fish together arent oscar fish fresh water and black ghost knife fish salt water how did you do that ?

  • @RezoRockstar BGk is a freshwater fish from south America..Amazon river basin.. :)

  • how big is the tank

  • Great fish but I cant stand the decorations...

  • @0TheUnderworld0 all from petsmart

  • @0TheUnderworld0 whats wrong with the decorations? looks like some atlantis shit. has like an ancient city ruins vibe. a LIL cartoonish but its all good. not too serious rofl. and i like the black/white contrast (yin/yang). fish look humongous

  • cool tank they look happy to me

  • it is abit small for those big fish

  • very small tank .,...plz upgrade

  • WOW I was just thinking about moving my oscar and bgkf together a minute ago :p

  • Wow, very nice, but you´re going to need a bigger aquarium soon! Do you have any aggresion issues with your oscars?

I have a small one in a separate aquarium and Im wondering If my larger oscar will beat it when I move it to my main aquarium

  • Would I be able to keep a medium tiger oscar and a 5" african brown knife together with a 4" striped peacock eel in a 40 gallon until they need a bigger tank?

  • @Bev13erly45 yes but if you want to keep all those fish you need a heavily filtered 100gallon tank minimum plus oscars grow from 5 inches to 14 inches in 8-9months so you better have money saved for a big tank XD

  • @halo3boredom you didnt mention how big ghost knifes get.... 20" some are bigger...

  • cool fishtank looks beautiful to me not overstocked does the ghost knife eat live fish??ive never seen 1 im thinking of buying 1 though..recomd it???

  • @tiny19000 Its perfect with other fish. just needs cover form the light though as they hate it.

  • overstocked. 1 Oscar is the least you can have in a 55 gallon tank. They arent fighting but it is still overstocked. Oscars are very cool fish but they eat like pigs and the rest of the food they dont eat falls on the gravel and will turn into ammonia and kill them. And 75 gallons is the least for a Black Ghost Knife fish and BGK fish needs hiding places like PVC pipe.

  • its not overstocked unless they are stressed or fight alot apparently they seem happy enough but its risky putting a BGK in with that many oscars

  • WAY OVERSTOCKED!!!!

  • @SocalDNM ur overstocked!!!!

  • @SocalDNM yeah, not overstocked.

  • I'm sorry but that tank is way over stocked.

A 55 gallon can house 1 Oscar and 1 Pleco.

Should try and get a much larger aquarium for the 4 of them.

  • I like your tank set up :)

  • i cant believe that your oscars and bgk get along. my oscar ate EVERYTHING in my tankand i had to give him back to the pet shop. it was a shame because his markings were the best ive ever seen on a tiger oscar.

  • ive got a BGK a pleco and an oscar in an 85 gallon is that fine?

  • you can add 1 or 2 more oscars

  • Are knifes compatible w/ Oscars because they killed the knife i had and he's bin with them since i started start...any tips on how to deal w/ this when i get a new knife?

  • i believe oscars grow faster than knifes but idk thats how it was with my endlichery and datnoids so i just grew them serperately and once t heir growth stopped or evened out i kept them together

  • my oscar swallowed my pihrana hole

  • Nice tank actually :-)

  • Oscars are some of the best looking fish you can find. To bad they would wipe the floor with the fish in my tank. I feed them at my workplace and they would take my hand off.

  • @xGHOSTXRECONx haha my piranha and puffer killed it

  • Nice video I keep a black ghost fish with my 4 oscars an they get along fine, I even have a rainbow tetra and some angel fish which were ment to be rehomed but never happened, 1 year later they are all happy tank mates

  • Man u put oscars with a black ghost knife!! I dont care how long you had them together or claim they get along!! This is not a smart move at all!

  • dude fuck w.e these people are saying you can keep all those fish in there happily i have a 75 with 4 oscars 2 peacock bass and 1 pleco my fish are livin happily now for about 2 years now

  • how long did it take ur ghost to get that size

  • my cichlids killed my black ghost knife

how did your oscars get along with yours

  • i have a small red lobster mixed with a black ghost its preety cool

  • Err, a little...small don't you think??? I only have 1 Tiger oscar, 1 BGK, 1 sailfin, and 2 BN's. In a 115 gallon...O.O I mean it's a nice tank and good looking fish, i would just have gotten a way bigger tank.

  • i hav a 650 gallon tank

    with 1 oscar in it

    is this ok?

    please reply

  • Well, is perfect for it, but sure you can put more fish in there, I have an Albino (2.5") with 4 Silver Dollars (2"), 2 Iridescent Sharks (6"), 3 Columbian Sharks (2.5") and 1 Rainbow Shark (2") in a 20 gallon and going to upgrade to a 70 gallon, as far they do pretty well.

  • that is a very lucky fish. So is my Half Moon Beta. He has a whole 30gallon tank to himself.

  • hell no....you need at least 1000 gallons if you want to keep an O properly...and you will also need a 10,000 GPH filter and 90% water changed every 2 hours....or you fish will get HITH and DIE!@_@! LOL JK.

  • wow i had an oscar an it was F!@#in huge like half a feet

  • So it was six inches?

  • no half a feet is one foot duh... lol

  • no u dont, i have a 34 gallon and i have 2 tiger oscars, with a bunch of dif goramies and stuff and they get along just fine, but i got the oscars at like... 2 months, and were raised with all the fish, so.... i guess it works out....

ps. i dont no wat filters i have

  • LOL it was a joke, but how big are your 2 tiger oscars? Obviously small, b/c I can assure you a 34 gallon tank will not house 2 adult Oscars and a bunch of dif goramies and stuff. You will be hard pressed to physicaly fit 2 adult O's in a 34g much less with small fish that they will no doubt eat. In all honesty 2 adult O's need a 75 bare minimum, pref a 90-125.

  • my 2 oscars were about 3 inch, but i fot rid of them 2 weeks ago, they where getting too big, and i feel like a trader now : -(

  • well in this situation fishes looks happy but i would keep the decorations to minimum more space for fishes to swim around but im sure your gonna upgrade nway

  • Can i keep two oscars in a 55g for life? what if i get two males?

  • ur tank is fine, as long as there is space for them to swim around they are good

  • that is way too small. even a single oscar will not thrive in a 55 gallon tank.

  • tank seems kinda small for that many oscars and a black ghost knife fish. u'll eventually need a 125g tank for sure.

  • I have pikes at home and with the pikes there are some basses :) they are real killer machines together :D

  • how big is you BGK now??

  • amazing tank. Everyone looks very healthy!!

  • i used to :c i didnt had the time, simple stuff but now im gona do my own amazon basin themed with a black ghost knifefish, probably 12+ corys *idk yest the species*, 5 apple snails, and maybe some tough fish that would be eaten by the BG knifefish

  • i have a full grown jd and a full grown red devil in a 35 gallon and have been there for years and are swiiming very happily its all about taking care of your water

  • Comment removed

  • maybe that would be the best but still i think they would be fine in 400-500 liter

  • MUCH MUCH MUCH bigger tank!!!

  • they eat the ghost fish yet?

  • look at my bgk when u have the time (comment on it) thankx

  • u need alot bigger tank

  • how much did you get your pure albino oscars for? what colors were they and how big were they when you got them? Thanks

  • Buitiful tank man

  • holy conoli

  • holy shit thats one of the most beautiful tanks and fish i seen.......but i think u should upgrate a little bigger!! i have a 75 gal with one 5'oscar,3' flower horn,5'catfish,4'ghost knife fish,7'jaguar cichlid!!! i love them all!

  • For real,,, I was actully told today at the pet store that BGK need 75 gallons just by themself.

    I guess there wrong . .

Because he told me my tank would be too small to have one [I have a 35 gallon.

  • oscar is now 7.5'' and the catfish is 7.5''..flowerhorn is out because he is to agressive at 6'' and the knife, and jaguar died...knife got stuck into the filter...jaguar?...

  • absaloutly beautiful oscars and black ghost what do you feed them i have 2 albino and 2 tiger oscars aswell with other cichlids though

  • my oscars ate my BGK...cause he for sure didnt jump out of the tank...havent seen him for 4 days. theyre the guilty culprets

  • Very nice Oscars & tank.

  • those are awesome fish. most especilly the BGK. how long have you had them?

  • stunning tank and fish congrats ! what camera you using to record in such high quality have a look at my 220 when you have time ..peace
