It never occurred to me that "there's a slight difference".
Ignore me, I'm an old Air Force guy who worked on jet fighters for four years, climbed all over them so I'm sure my view of them is different. I loved being around the F4 and RF4, they are fascinating. I just don't get the refueling bit. But then I don't get many things.
@StarsMarsRadio To most people, it is the excitement of possibly being killed. There is a lot of skill involved in being a pilot. It's challenging, but pretty cool at the same time. Not everyone is cut out to be a pilot.
@StarsMarsRadio Still, you are in charge of a lot of money in aircraft and the fuel. You have to be ace at flying the thing so it is a big challenge. The excitement also comes when something might go wrong..
Am I the only one who doesn't get this whole fascination with in-flight refueling?
I can't imagine a super car fan video showing a Bugatti or a McLaren at the pump.

@dimbulb23 There's a slight difference between refueling on the ground and in the air at 150 knots or more.
