If any of these churches were truly like the first century church, then there would be a church where everyone gets healed like the first century church experienced. Also the Glory of God would literally be appearing as the first century church experienced, the Cloud, the Whirlwind of Fire, the Kabod (Glory) Presence of God. If any churches today were actually following the Jewish traditions of the first century church, then there would be 3,000 souls getting saved without use of a microphone.

I'm glad you're happy my friend but you've merely upgraded to another brand of superstition. The claims are similar & the hysterical emotion is identical. But consider that Catholics worship bread. Yes, literally. Catholics teach that the Eucharist wafer is God. That little white cracker - it created you & me and the world and the universe. That's really what they teach and it's a preposterous superstition.

Jn 6 48-69 People left him because of this hard teaching Jn 6 60-66 and Jesus said 'I will be with you until the end of the world" He wasn't refering of the Holy Spirit which is a totally different person in the Trinity but he was talking about himself. I have been witness of miracles that have happened around the holy Eucharist. Search for Eucharistic miracles and may God bless you.

@ssabraham Look up transubstantiation in the catechism. Better yet go to John Paul's encyclical on the eucharist. The claim is that the literal substance of the bread is changed into flesh. If that were true we'd could see the difference - yet a chem lab analysis will tell you it's still bread.

As for miracles, what religion does not claim miracles? If you judge by claims of miracles one religion is as good as another. Proving the miracles is another matter. Try it yourself and see.

Every religion claims miracles & revelations. By that measure Catholicism is an also-ran. For example, Catholics say transubstantiation is a miracle. When asked for evidence folks like yourself say something like: "Sorry, it's non-physical essence. It's definitely the true presence of God but it can't be detected so just take our word. Trust us, we're inspired."

Religion assumes that if we believe a thing it must be true. And if we've believed it for 2000 years it's truer still. Do you really think that's a valid assumption? Look at all the stuff that RCC once taught but now deny.

Before the Vatican II council the Catholic church generally taught that ONLY Catholics are eligible for salvation. I was deeply involved in the RCC in those days. I speak from personal knowledge. Non-Catholics went to hell in those days regardless except for infants who went to Limbo. Limbo is another doctrine they deny scrapping.

Ignatius's martyrdom account is one of the most beautiful accounts I have ever read from a professing Christian. "let me be groud by the lions teeth". Such devotion to Christ and sacrifice. Don't see things and devotion like that today
