i have mone of these little guys too. He 5-6 months old. When do they "grow out" of chewing on their people. Constanty wanting to play. He was a bottle baby, has tons of toys and 3 cats and 3 dogs to bug but thinks my hands, writs and feet are his chew toys. Please share your experience.

the biting gets worse when they really start putting on weight. most people get rid of their coons after about a year after the become difficult to manage, lol, which is unfortunate.

a simple warning bite from an adult coon will go deep into skin, so make sure you don't have yours around small children.

one way to stop the biting is to go down to pets mart or pet co and buy a bottle of anti bite spray it is perfectly safe and harmless it just has a string bitter taste that racoons hate spray it on all the place he or she bites you and it will break him from it after a while

Just because you think it would be "cool and cute" to have a raccoon as a pet, I suggest you won't get one. They are really hard to take care of and they need helluva' lot of attention and a look-after. Otherwise, the heck knows what are they gonna do. It's just their nature. When they are like 6 months old, they will start to behave somewhat "badly" (Even tho' they simply are curious about things).
