Can someone give me a simplified version of what these mixers do? I stopped DJing in '03, so I'm behind the times. I do plan to get back into it some time soon though.

@revnu2 What Pioneer? The DJM-T1? You still need to get a Scratchlive interface, it doesn't have any internal effects and you only get a 1 year warranty? The DJM-900 will cost more with the interface and has less midi functionality.

@akadjblaze think about it again the 61 is a replacement to the 57 not the 56, and the 62 is a band new monster. so the 61's price should be about the price of the 57 when it was released. and look it is.

Rane mixers are solid. I have the GMF gold Empath. I have had it for about 4 years. I have never had a single problem with it. I am thinking I am going to have o upgrade to the Sixty-Two though.
