  • i bought mine off of ebay , $11w/shipping. they said it was an east german stove and it works great locked open

  • @duplessis2006 Glad to hear that you were able to get one. They work great and are very well made. Thanks for the info! Anthony.

  • I would of had to dump some of the water out n had some sugar in it of some kind or fruit or so. But otherwise bought an kit from then a while ago and very awesome recently bought the paracord carrier instead of the other and the stainless lid is awesome though the heavy cover is awesome also

  • @WaterfrontBoss Thanks for watching. Yes, adding fruit and other items makes for a more complete and filling meal. Great job! Paracord carrier looks pretty awesome also. I am going to order the stainless lid for my kit as well. Anthony.

  • Where did u get your swedish stove. It almost looks like the esbit stove

  • @semicolonjones I purchased in a local army/navy store. They are used. They do look a little like the esbit stove. They operate very similar, but are a little smaller. Thanks for watching.

  • @cougarbahia Thanks for your comments. Anthony.

  • Where did you find the "clear" canteen? I have looked on line but can't find anything.

  • @agreen9813 Check out CanteenShop on line. They carry clear nalgene canteens. Thanks for watching.

  • Did u ever get a cup stove/stand? Great vid.

  • @2kargarage1 I purchased an Esbit Pocket Sove. It works great with the Canteen Cup.

  • Hi you are the 8th youtube poster i have had to come and apologise to. My younger brother logged in with my account (my fault really because i always leave myself logged in but wont from now on) and he has been leaving comments on a lot of people's posts in my name. Most were unsavoury to say the least. He has given me a bad rep which i am trying to put right. Sorry if you have been caused any upset.

    Peace

  • @RumbleGuts2112 No problem. Stay tuned for some more vides. Anthony.

  • Hang on...in UK cash you paid about 8 quid for a spoon with useless fork like prongs??... Are youreally that gullible?

Also it isnt a Sweedish designed stove you are using. It is a British cooker that has been used in several world wars so get your facts right.

Dear God man after watching the rest of your vid you would be a liability out in the wilds.

You seem to be nothing other than QVC because you talk about nothing other than brand names without having a clue what you are talking about

  • @RumbleGuts2112 It is a gear review video and the gear is very reliable. I could care less if the stove was sweedish or British. All I care is that it works well. A liability in the field? What do you know about the field? You are disarmed and a slave. I am free and armed. Thanks for your comments.

  • If you like that Swedish stove, you would love Vargo's new Titanium wood stove. It folds flat, but can be used with wood, alcohol stoves, candles and solid fuelbtabs. It is the first multi purpose stove.

  • @johnmonk66

Thanks for watching. I will check out the Vargo stove. Thanks for the tip. Anthony.

  • @biblesnbarbells you are welcome. by the way, there is another stove, don't know what it is called but I think it is english, it will fit under your canteen, if you get a chance to check my latest video where i compare a titanium kettle to a titanium cup's boil times, you will see the english canteen stove on the right side. if it works for you, you can find a new use for that side pocket, lol, like carrying fuel tabs. last advice, dryer lint lights super easy, great fire starter.

  • @biblesnbarbells Or you could not carry it at all and use rocks closely put together.. I wonder how long a Stainless Steel and/or a Titanium Cup/Pot would last if you HAD to use it day after day in the wild..

  • @bradwjensen You can use rocks. I have done this before. These cups last a long time. They are bombproof. Thanks for watching.

  • 5/5

Do those fuel tabs leave residue or soot. The ones I have do. I have same stove but a galvanized version. Started using trioxane and fuel gels. I use an altoids tin inside the stove helps keep stove clean.

  • The canteen stove is all over the place on Ebay for about $8.00

  • @cameraguy1968

Thanks for watching. I will check that out. Anthony.

  • I love the canteen cup. I use a piece of heavy duty foil (folded over 4 times for extra thickness) as a lit and it helps keep the heat in. If you need to...you can put a small rock on it to keep it from blowing away. I too want to get one of those heavy duty lids they have out there.

  • @rlmarin1968

Thanks for watching. I will try to make the foil lid until I get my regular lid from Canteen Shop. Stay safe. Anthony.

  • Nice Video Brother! Glad you are enjoying the kit. I have some stove stands coming in of my own design, it's coming in a couple of weeks.

  • @canteencorner

Thanks. I will place an order when they arrive. Thanks for a great site. Anthony

  • Thank you for making a video so fast...I use to use a esbit stove but then i got the GI stove..when i get a camera i will show you my system..nice stove..

  • @TheFreerunlife

Thanks for watching. The U.S. stove that goes with this cup was on backorder. I will try to order next week and do another video showing the whole kit.

    Anthony
