  • You have no tax dollars bitch. We ain't on the gold standard no more homey! When you were getting your gold from the ground you could talk but you borrow from a federal, private bank. Remember. Stupid fuck! Oh and when we didn't bail out Lehman Brothers all them right wingers that spent years working for LB lost their retirement money. Dick Fulds jacked that shit and made off like a bandit.

  • You motherfucing right wingers are bitching about the bailout but during Bush W's tenure in office he and his cronies created an artificially high economy by giving minorities loans they couldn't afford for shit. And guess what the outcome of that was. We lost ten trillion in housing, over 15 million jobs and hundreds of billions in retirement money. All the while the top 1% banked every dime.

  • True, all that! AND he screwed both the bondholders AND the unions! Obama is no friend of capital and no friend of labor.

  • good idea. get the public all excited about it like the race to the moon.

  • no problem rob. apology accepted. live aloha! :)

  • sorry rob. thanks for educating me. :)

  • Hey Delamo88 - Thanks for commenting, though. I am sorry for calling you a retard. That was not cool. I should be called the retard.

  • I agree that the U.S. auto industry needs to head in a new, greener, direction. But if they didn't recieve financial help from the government they would have collapsed. If they collapse so too does the U.S. economy and consequently the world's economy.

He should have made a greener and more practical direction a condition of the bailout. But the bailout was necessary.

  • That water car will never go into production, the big oil corporations will make sure of that. Just like the pharmaceutical companies wont allow cures to come out.

  • the big three should rot in hell...

  • The auto industry isnt getting free handouts like aig, theyre getting loans from the government. the car companies have to pay them back eventually.

  • where did you get the figure $50 trillion? people are complaining about being $9 trillion in debt by the end of this year, not 50.

  • sleeperknight - pgpf (dot) org /about /nationaldebt/

  • Obama for life, Barack Obama is the best thing to happen to america ever. Typical fucking conservatives and Right Wing Christians like you who hav run the country into the ground. You forget you have to spend money to make money, Obama is doing the right thing.

  • How can you SPEND money when YOU DON'T HAVE MONEY? We're 59 trillion in the hole. The average family is $190,000 in debt before the go bankrupt. If you want money to spend, steal it from the rich who hoard all the wealth of America, then send it overseas to avoid paying Uncle Sam taxes.

Oprah spent $250 million on Obama's campaign. That kind of money spent just to get a him into power, I could've built a new high school and a low income med clinic.

  • Or a hell of a lot of cheaper homes for low income people. Or help modernize schools. Or anything else to help a lot of people for a good price.

You even more money to ge rid of the deficit? Tax non-profit organizations that rich people use to hide money and organized religions.

  • getting more money to spend is a good thing stimulate the economy.

  • You gotta remember though that Obama is also putting lots of money to things like smart grid technologies. Our country will save billions and billions of dollars if the efficency of the power grid is improved. He doesn't have the "welfare" mentality. He has the "you gotta spend money to make money" mentality.

  • 919colorado23 - You do realize that using water for fuel is pretty much free energy. So if energy is free and cost $0, how much more efficient can you get?

  • Comment removed

  • Energy from the sun is free as well. So are alot of the alternative energy sources that all are part of a smart grid. Sources such photovoltaic, geothermal, and wind are well developed and cost effective. This is why Obama is putting so much into the smart grid idea. Obama is also giving major incentives for ideas like water powered cars. Not only that but people who purchase alternative powered cars are getting major tax breaks.

  • 919colorado23 - sun, wind, and geothermal energy sources are tiny, inefficient, and wildly expensive. Bottom line, they're insufficient power sources. As for incentives, a vehicle that's powered by other fuels are still insufficient, expensive, and not easily deployable to the mass market. Who really cares about tax breaks/incentives, when you have water as a source of power, and you never have to pay for another gas or electric bill for the rest of your life?

  • BINGO!

  • by water fuel do you mean hydrogen?

  • he should give money to NY!!

  • Thank you for the link to the water car video!! It's incredible!! Amazing!! Astounding!! Why haven't these cars spread all around the world yet?!

And when the heck are they going to make a bike that runs the same way?

  • maikeli7 - It's because water for fuel will put the people in the oil business OUT of business. If you mess with someone's Multi Billion Dollar business, they'll kill ya.

  • Right on!! It is so frustrating to think that there is a solution to the problem already and no one is doing anything about it!! We ought to email the link to Obama, hold up signs outside the White House, and make so much noise they HAVE to listen. Aw hell, I'm too lazy and selfish. I'm just going to sit back with my remote and be lulled into a daze by the History Channel - my opiate.

    :-(

Thanks though for opening my eyes a bit!!

You are a rare gem on YT!!

  • That would be a great idea! Think about the price of bottle water if we had something like that. LOL

  • ninjabiker03 - It'll be free-er than free. The exhaust fumes are highly purified drinkable water. You can put sewer water in, and out the exhaust comes super purified water. The engine can take rain water. The price of bottled water would actually go down.

  • I grew up in the Detroit area, most of my family still relies on GM for employment or pensions, but I completely agree that we should not be propping up business that have failed to adapt and remain competitive. All this does is encourage mediocrity and reduce corporate accountability. Let the good businesses succeed, let the poor ones fail.

  • Yeah, I agree it sucks but the idea of millions of people being out of a job all at one time is scary.

  • steelhorseclub - Innovate or die. Obama should say, You have 3 months to make me a water-powered car, and you'll have your $18 Billion. Obama would be a hero, the automotive industry would be saved, jobs would increase, and the nation's morale would be boosted.

  • Yeah, you are right. But in the end the presidents power is limited. I have a feeling Congress might not be up to it. HA, after like forty years they are just now admitting that our dependence on foreign oil is a bad idea.lol

  • Steelhorseclub - Obama can give a great speech and inspire Americans. How much more power do you really need?

  • that water-powered car is pretty neat^^

  • Woohoo! You're on a bike.

  • i know its your opinion...and i respect that...i dont agree with alot obama is doing...but bailing out motor city i believe in...think about this..in America they use American based automotive for public vehicles, rescue, fire, and safety vehicles. so in all your looking at millions of vehicles in this country that will save many many lives..so if bailing out the motor companies will save just one life thats fine with me. you cant put a price tag on a life...but again i do respect your opinion

  • thebaboski - so you're saying that if we don't have american vehicles, people will die? I don't buy that. That's bogus.

  • no no no ..thats not what i am saying...what i am saying is the fact that these companies and city rescue services have their opinion of using American based..if thats what most of the public safety's opinion is well lets help the companies out to manufacture vehicles.

  • also everyone is complaining about the government not helping....well if the government does not help these compines..well that about everyones well being..since there are many many jobs that will be lost..

  • thebaboski - There is no reason that we cannot buy our emergency vehicles from Japan. We currently buy them from American companies because of lobbyists and "buy American" sentiment, not because they are necessarily any better.

  • i understand that...but its not up to me...these emergency companies opinon is to use American made. i know there are vehicles made all over the world we can use...but there opinion is American...its not my opinion nor preference..just theirs
