Hm, when i installed Panther on my iMac it didn't do the welcome thing, just played the Music and the screen showed a big X with Max OS on one side and "Getting Started" on the other side o.O

@kasm279 Some Macs, namely older iMacs, do not have the graphics resources available to display the graphics intensive intro movie. Install on a newer computer, and you will see it.

This was like a major change to the Macintosh. 10.0-10.2 had the same intro, kinda looked the same in interface. I never had them though, but by google and youtube, I looked at what it was like. I still have panther from my eMac restore and a panther box (although in have tiger installed)
