this game has the most amazing portable graphics i've ever seen. i just hope they don't over gimmick the game like Nintendo always does, like touchscreens, tilting, etc. a few every once in a while is good but just not too much. i really wish Microsoft would make a portable console, i don't know why they don't even try to make one.

That's not to say the 3DS won't sell, oh no far from it, it will sell like hot cakes, but as a gamer it doesn't serve my needs. Nintendo are no longer creative and I just can't see developers at this point in time slaving away and implementing 3D in any meaningful way. Rather as has been the case since the system's launch, it's been tacked on for cosmetic purposes. I may be wrong and we may see some incredible things, but I don't think the world [including developers] are quite ready for it.

I am no fool. The supposedly 'free' 20 games are way overvalued. They don't compare to the money I've lost. Those are old games and have prices set by Nintendo. If I've played or own them no one cares. I have to deal with it. I can't re-sell them. So what good are they to me? it's pretty much a bribe so early adopters don't get mad, but I can see right through it. It's not a good will gesture, it's a sneaky move to pull wool over the eyes of customers. I can't blame them, it hasn't sold as exp.

So, apart from the gimmicky, unoriginal, rehashes that Nintendo will churn out no doubt you can expect a bleak future for the 3DS. 3D gaming is a gimmick that will in no way enhance game-play significantly this generation, maybe in the future, but it's too early for anything amazing to be done with it. The 3DS has been a hard sell and Nintendo has had to spit on their loyal customers and slash its price
@FibrousAcquiescence I'm going to be as bias as possible here. I'm not saying the 3DS is better than the Vita. I'm simply stating that you can't even tell which is better then whom because we don't have the Vita to compare it with the 3DS. The PS Vita could be complete rubbish, (Not saying it is, in fact I'm quite excited for it as I love my PSP dearly and Persona 3 Portable is one of my favorite games on that platform) we won't know exactly how good the Vita is until it comes out.
@NuMrGreen I'm making a prediction, of course I can't say it's better right now. Going by all the features the VITA will have and I didn't even mention trophy support and a lot of other features it will support I believe the VITA will provide a more wholesome gaming experience.
@FibrousAcquiescence I guess you bought it because you were affected by advertising. Don't do the same mistake here. Best thing to do is wait to see how it turns out (like what games will it have or even a price drop). No matter what a company advertises it always looks amazing.

@FibrousAcquiescence I can tell you why because i fear we may go through the same story as the psp vs ds. The ds was great. no handheld had reached 3d (not the pop out of the screen kind i mean like the people are 3d) touch screen was great and had great games. but the psp took it even further. graphics that could compare even sometimes beat the ps2 and had good games as well...at 1st, then for no reason it was abandoned. we would get like 2 good games a year. I fear this will be the same story.

Will pre-order three PS-Vitas this weekend. Will keep one, the other two to be sold on Ebay. I think the PSV blows out the 3DS out of the water. I'm not a fanboy as I own the Nintendo DS and Wii but I think Sony finally have made a hanheld gaming system capable of dethroning Nintendo as the king of handheld gaming. PSV is priced right, has tons of technical innovation, and a great game line up. The PS3 connectivity is a big plus also.
PS vita will have face recognision...I wonder if sackboy will mimick our face???? And the shadows look sharp in this compared to the slightly pixelated blurry shadows on PS3 version.
The thing that sucked about the 3DS is that I didn't know how amazing the 3D was until I actually got to hold it. I can see how pretty the Vita is in videos though. And it really looks amazing.
The DS was an awesome portable, but these two sticks are making me think about getting a Vita this time around.

So the 3ds has crappy graphics eh. Look at resident evil revelations e3 gameplay. looks good to me. Mos of the games only seem blocky because the 3ds screen is small and they have to stretch the pixels when they show it on youtube.

the problem with 3DS is that you can also get headaches when you play for long hours...graphics are great+3D effect adds a softening effect to the textures

@FourPartPlan That is amisingly true and something better said is Metal gear Solid 4 or Uncharted, but there are over 300,000 people on Black Ops and around 200,000 on Modern Warfare 2. @NuMrGreen I'm making a prediction, of course I can't say it's better right now. Going by all the features the VITA will have and I didn't even mention trophy support and a lot of other features it will support I believe the VITA will provide a more wholesome gaming experience.

@FibrousAcquiescence I guess you bought it because you were affected by advertising. Don't do the same mistake here. Best thing to do is wait to see how it turns out (like what games will it have or even a price drop). No matter what a company advertises it always looks amazing.

@FibrousAcquiescence I can tell you why because i fear we may go through the same story as the psp vs ds. The ds was great. no handheld had reached 3d (not the pop out of the screen kind i mean like the people are 3d) touch screen was great and had great games. but the psp took it even further. graphics that could compare even sometimes beat the ps2 and had good games as well...at 1st, then for no reason it was abandoned. we would get like 2 good games a year. I fear this will be the same story.

Will pre-order three PS-Vitas this weekend. Will keep one, the other two to be sold on Ebay. I think the PSV blows out the 3DS out of the water. I'm not a fanboy as I own the Nintendo DS and Wii but I think Sony finally have made a hanheld gaming system capable of dethroning Nintendo as the king of handheld gaming. PSV is priced right, has tons of technical innovation, and a great game line up. The PS3 connectivity is a big plus also.

HOLY CRAP. That looked amazing.
The thing that sucked about the 3DS is that I didn't know how amazing the 3D was until I actually got to hold it. I can see how pretty the Vita is in videos though. And it really looks amazing.
The DS was an awesome portable, but these two sticks are making me think about getting a Vita this time around.

So the 3ds has crappy graphics eh. Look at resident evil revelations e3 gameplay. looks good to me. Mos of the games only seem blocky because the 3ds screen is small and they have to stretch the pixels when they show it on youtube.

I love both sony and nintendo I love the 3DS Because it is a big lets say huge change to the graphics of the DS and it is in 3D! And it gets real popular games on it that don't suck.
The reason why i would also like the Vita is because it is basically a portable PS3,
But i am not so fond of the 15 Mins battery life rumor about the PSVita so that kind of put me off, but as a fan of LBP having used to have a PS3 Slim I would sell everything except for My family,Pets, Living material and 3DS;)

In PSV in the other hand, hold badass games like this one and call of duty, WITH TO STICKS. I think is best for every one when i say, In PSV I Belive.

the problem with 3DS is that you can also get headaches when you play for long hours...graphics are great+3D effect adds a softening effect to the textures
honestly i'm gonna buy a PSV because I've felt that I'm not able to play lots and lots of hours on 3DS (and I bought one...)
i think that instead of having people talking about graphics and others talking about 3D we should take in mind risks that these 2 technologies can affect us (and both consoles have great games)

@BloodWielder A true gamer is someone who actually likes videogames, not a typical fratboy that plays just to get virtual medals and achievements and brags about being promoted to "Super Duper Prestige Power Sarge Level 30". Plus, CoD used to be good until MW2, which was a casualized mess. If you have a decent computer, try playing Duty Calls, a parody made by Epic Games. CoD was nice until MW2, the game that made Activision the greedy bastards they are right now. They release maps, not even significant changes, but maps, for $15. For the same ammount of money, you can buy an indie game like Bastion. Activision thinks we are stupid, because only the "hardcore" type of gamer would browse LIVE or PSN to get Add-Ons. It's really dissapointing.

@FourPartPlan Your so right. I bought one map pack and all I played was the zombies. I would never waste my money on that again. Still I'm lost on how playing CoD makes you not a true gamer. I guess if you loved it like some people do must haven't played that many games before, but I still like it. I would give black ops like a 7/10 but if the storyline was more interesting and not so repetitive and they didn't start you out with the worst guns in the game in multiplayer. I would give it a 9.

@hyperShadicDhedgehog To be honest, I got Black Ops. The online community was terrible and the story was awful, so it was a bit painful for a former CoD fan. The only good thing about was zombies, but if you play Killing Floor (Popular Game between the PC Community) it's the same thing but with a cheaper price. I started playing Battlefield, and in my opinion, it's really amazing, specially when you play it with friends. I respect your opinion, though. However, try to give BF a chance,its better

@FourPartPlan That is amisingly true and something better said is Metal gear Solid 4 or Uncharted, but there are over 300,000 people on Black Ops and around 200,000 on Modern Warfare 2. So if you do the math, around 1/4 will get the PSV, and thats pretty good. I still think the DS will die, i mean almost all the games are re runs. So common what you got to say to that.

A part of the Hardcore Kids (Or as I like to say, the CoD Gamer) will want a Vita, but remember Vita is expensive, so mommy won't buy it for them. Most of the Hardcore Kids will be okay with just playing Angry Birds.Vita is trying to appeal the Hadrcore consumer, what Sony doesn't know is that handhelds are a joke to the true hardcore gamer
