Ive went through like 6 flower attempts and Ive failed them all.. it seems like I run out of loops right after the circle bit in the beginning or i dont have enough stitches somehow and im doing the exact same thing as the video! argh

@10Rosemary It is a size I/5.5mm.  With this flower the size does not matter.

For the hook I used (G) I had to start off with an extra chain or two. I successfully made a flower with 5 chains to start.

Thank you so much for this tutorial. I did struggle at the start (worked 9 single crochet instead of 10) but I did manage to make on complete flower on 2nd trial. Can you pls do a tutorial for a larger flower to put on a handbag or on little girls hat. thanks ever so much.
