  • Um, you really need to see some of the stuff I can do. I make my own fire props so when I get to spin flow toys it looks amazing but it is really fast. I managed to snap about 3 flow staffs. 2 in 1 weekend. Never the lights just the staff I need a stronger material to spin. PVC pipe tens to work better.

  • @Mypringles - are you referring to the staff connectors? either way email us directly. all non-electronic parts that broke will be replaced for free. we would like to redesign the connectors, but they are the best we can do now. email us for tips on how to make them last longer.

  • @flowtoys The connectors snap after a day of use. I am talking about them being snapped ah the thick parts of the plastic. I have to bring electrical tape to keep them from flying apart. They need t be so much stronger. The tube itself snapped once so, maybe just a little bit of ticking at the ends. But the connector, maybe make it solid, or an other sheath, to reinforce it. or metal pins. I do not have my staffs anymore though or I would send them in.

  • It was a try staff.

  • @Mypringles - that's too bad that you don't have them anymore. We would have replaced them and sent you tips on how to keep them going for longer. We've wanted to make them differently, but were doing the best we could with the resources we had. Many people use them without problems, but they are not indestructible and we will always honor our warranty when they do break.

  • I watched plenty of videos, but still don't find the answer. If I want to turn the light on or change mode I must take off the cap remove lights from tube and switch it, or there is a way to access the button without removing flowlights?

  • @basilolo - yes you have to take out the lights to access the buttons - i think all the videos show this step. some people drill holes in their tubes but we don't offer this as dirt and moisture can get in the tubes. we have 2 sets of rechargeable batteries per light and usually turn them all on and leave them on until we're done playing. if we're staying up for longer than 6-7 hrs, we switch them all out together when they start going out.

  • at some point, we'll have a way of turning on/off, changing modes form the outside, but this is best we can do now w/ the resources we have at the price the lights are and given their versatiity.

  • Performance art is so lucky to have a company like this. they know what we want because they are a part of our world. no corporate fat cats capitalizing on an art. its artists helping artists. I am happy to buy and use flowlights and I know so many others that are too.

  • Well im gonna buy one but last question are you gonna have a christmas discount?

  • hey dude can you use fire and earth togeter i want to see what it looks like im thinking of buying one

  • @m0nkeykid2 - fire and earth look great together ... earth goes best with fire. we don't have a video and are too swamped to make vids now, but you might be able to find some other vids online.

  • Must have.

  • I just love flow toys so very much!

  • Please make more of these Play Videos like the beginning of your video.

I like your styles much as own inspiration.

  • I actually have a good bit of this collection. I can make every toy I know how to use and one or two I'm starting to work with. it's a great system. I would like to point out to those interested. the Tube lengths come in 1 light and half light variations. For poi it's good to have the 1 light variants, for staff connectors you want a half light extra on the tube to get the most out of it.. I love my collections and would recommend this investment to anyone.

    Thank you Flowtoys :)

  • This is amazing... I can definitely see the drive and passion you have for this product and its truly an awesome and amazing product. I know this product isn't entirely rave-related but as a raver I find this awesome and inspiring :)

Soon to be purchasing parts of your system :):)

  • Will there ever be a kit that contains one of ever piece you need to make all of that together? I know it would kind of be a lot but it would be cool to buy it all in one set.

  • @BlissfulOasis - we'll be offering kits in the not too distant future .. hopefully before the end of the year, but might be beginning 2011 :)
