This interviewer is missing the point, Paul isn't popular because he's 'harnessed the innernet', it's because there has been a latent desire for a no BS leader and the main stream media has been ignoring him.

You're right. As Ron Paul supporters, we have to be carefull because the "feisty" and "crazy" tag is already being slapped on us. Look at how calm and collected Dr. Paul is all of the time, even with this criticism. I do like the fact that Taco John mentioned that you can't buy the internet. The internet is the one place where you get a majority of free thinkers.

This interviewer is missing the point, Paul isn't popular because he's 'harnessed the innernet', it's because there has been a latent desire for a no BS leader and the main stream media has been ignoring him.
It isn't fringe players that do well on the internet, it's leaders who reflect the desires of the people, there just happens to be very few of them and the msm won't cover them because they don't serve big business.

Think about this for a moment: Fox is very careful an intentional about who they choose to represent each view. They are happy to let their enemies represent opposing views, but they will be very careful about who is representing them. We can see this in Hannity and Colmes - Colmes is intentionally chosen and styled to appear weak, weasel-ish and to not have a strong speaking voice.

Thanks. Don't you think that the Ron Paul supporter was kind of whiny, insistent, uncomfortable and insecure? I mean, beyond the typical nervousness that a person would feel on TV. It reminded me of those people on internet boards who have too much invested in 'winning an argument' etc. People don't care what you say - they care about how you come across and how you appear. If they smell insecurity or unhappiness then they will often just write off your opinions.

Not really conspiracy related. It's just the way media businesses work - especially FOX. Everything people say on these shows, every guest that Fox invites is carefully and intentionally chosen to achieve some goal or another. Watch "FOX and friends" to see a perfect example of partially scripted dialogue being passed off as casual converstation. It's mostly just to get more ratings or to support candidates with big advertising budgets.

We need to understand that the people who use the internet are the one's who see information from its source. The candidate himself/herself is not the source...it is the candidates words, actions, and record from the past (the only logical rationale to assess what he/she will do with the future)
The internet picks the most honest, reliable, and American source. That is why a candidate cannot choose the internet. The internet chooses the candidate that represents the most credible source.

Dr. Paul summed it up best at one of the rallies. I think he said something like "The key to having a strong grassroots support is to have a message worth listening to."
That's why none of the other candidates have "cracked the code" of the internet. It's because they're still just trying to use the internet as another way of selling the same old empty slogans.

Yes, she is. Regardless all of the diggs, comments, emails, phone calls, and text votes, primary votes will determine this election. All of this definitely helps for spreading the message of Ron Paul, but instead of focusing on maintaining a redundant internet community for Dr. Paul, we should focus on introducing more people to his message. That is the only way we will see this man in the White House.
