  • cel mai tare serial din toate timpurile

  • Man, I'm still waiting for them to release Seinfeld on Blu-ray.

  • This is one of my favorite episodes.

    "Hire this man."

  • this turned around the yankees

  • RIP big stein

  • Elane is hot!!!!

  • This episode probably have changed my life as well... especially the way I raise my kids.. which is the direct opposite of how I was raised... I am now applying it to my next venture... major moves man ... :)

  • @zul4real Funny thing I always tell people that U can relate alot of the Seinfeld shows to real life situations..lol.My analogy of Seinfeld is that either U like it or U hate it.Theres nothing in between. Its like saying that someone loves to eat cheesecake or they hate eating Cheesecake. No one likes Cheesecake only a little bit.Either its alot or not@all..lol.Im talking about real New York Cheesecake & NOT the other different flavor stuff that doesnt even taste like regular Cheesecake!

  • I can honestly say that I did the opposite just like George in this episode and it worked for me. I wish I could meet Jason Alexander and tell him that. Hah.

  • Isn't Ron Paul the opposite of every president since Wilson?

  • Will someone plesae explane to me why chicken is the opposite of tuna?

  • @comprehensiveboy Land vs. Sea.

  • @comprehensiveboy In the scene, Jerry explains that salmon is the opposite of tuna 'cos it swims up stream.

  • pure comedic genius, plain and simple

  • why is everyone making "L" sounds using "W"'s. WTF!?

  • @MaliceMods what the hell are you talking about??

  • Best episode of Seinfeld ever!!!

  • I love when costanza get angry. This scene, the twix candy line up setup oh man.

  • BTW, the guy Cushman interviewing George @ the Yankees is Paul Gleason aka Principal Dick Vernon from "The Breakfast Club." :-)

  • @xptwillie also "Clarence Beeks" from Trading Places.

  • @StanleyKu You have a good memory, sir!

  • who gives a shit what some critic thought.

  • Elaine looks extremely hot in that beginning scene ... more so than other episodes =D

  • were gonna take it outside and im gonna show you what its like!

  • George and Elaine are always on the opposite ends of the spectrum, every time something good happens to one, the other suffers! SOURCE: The Opposite and The Abstinence.

  • how do u "use to watch it" but dont know it too well. GS is a douche

  • I just love this episode...

  • Damn George was skinny in the pilot.

  • "Excoriate?" Is this what Jerry does with his free time, reading the dictionary?

  • @SuperOxideDimutase Aah! How refreshing to read another enlightened being celebrating the rich vocabulary that we have collectively at our disposal.

The Youtube Comment Section. "Where brains go to die"

  • This is one of the best episodes!

  • RIP george steinbrenner

  • @trakomako Why do you say that?

  • "..because I would LOVE IT !!!!" ROFL! :D

  • @ChizmanInDenver I'm pretty sure it was George.

  • @trisiti it was kramer you jackass

  • who plays the physical person of steinbrenner?

  • EVERY episode where George plays the Man is television gold.

  • This was the episode we realised the show belonged to George, not Krammer.

  • george steinbrener isn't much, think about it.

  • "Hire this man!!!"...LMAO!

  • In all seriousness. This is going to be my New Years resolution! In fact I think that I will start today!

  • No the best quote ever was 'This is like discovering plutonium BY ACCIDENT" from the Switch. George always gets the best lines.

  • @zapkvr

IMNSHO . . . I think the best Seinfeld quote of all time occurred just a few seconds earlier in the same episode, The Switch, when George said, "Do you ever just get down on your knees and thank God that you know me and have access to my dementia?"

    Man, I swear that is the best line . . . .

  • @herbertificus Yeah I get that but I still like the earlier line, just the way he blurts it out, the delivery was the best it could be ARE YOU CRAZY? THIS IS LIKE..... Just perfect.

  • @zapkvr True. That was the best.

  • Its hilarious how disgusted Elaine is when she realizes she has turned into George..LMAO!...The Best Show EVER!!!

  • 3:50 these tapes are on youtube. Crazy

  • ma favorite episode, because at least things go right for George.

  • "HIRE THIS MAN"

  • "Hire this man". George was stunned, so the man who first talk with him.

  • why dont we step outside and I'll show you what it's like

  • hey george pass the calzone hahaha/

  • Because I would LLOOVEE IT

  • Comment removed

  • omg george and kramer are hilarious. I dont know when I laughed harder, when I saw George say that line or when Kramer walked into Jerrys home on "Pipe night" hahahahahahahahaha

  • "All for the glorification of your massive ego!"

    "Hire this man!!"

  • R.I.P. George Steinbrenner

  • Skip to the 6 minute 27 second mark to see George tell off Steinbrenner and get hired on the spot to work at the New York Yankees.

  • FLORIO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Comment removed

  • This episode and the Blind date episode are in my top 5 favorite episodes...EXACTLY because in them, GEORGE PLAYS THE MAN and overcomes his usual, weasel self.

  • Steinbrener is boss!!! :)

    Well done!

  • "And if you think I'm kidding, just try me, try me....cause I would LOVE it"!!

  • @nothingness36 I thought about it actually. But I noticed that only 80% of my life sucks, so it would be dangerous to lose the other 20%

  • George telling off Steinbrener is one of my favorite clips

  • i give a lot of respect to george steinbrenner for admitting, on camera, that he made some mistakes in his career.

  • my favourite episode

  • HIRE THIS MAN!

  • i started watching curb a few days ago. larry david is absolutely amazing as an actor, writer and a comic.

  • "My name is George, I'm unemployed and I live with my parents" Is probably in the top 5 of greatest TV quotes of all time

  • @sauron9990 "I'm Victoria. Hi!"

    PRICELESS!

  • I was just watching the pilot today and noticed the "opposite" line. I'm so glad that Larry mentions it here, because it means it was deliberate ^^

  • lloyd braun

  • l love the opposite episode...i just wacth it last night...the last scene is hilarious ..- 'hire this man is' :)

  • I always thought steinbrenners character on seinfeld sounded like andy kaufmans tony clifton, & I thought that's who they were trying to make it sound like, after all, Kaufmans manager helpred produce the show

  • It is Larry David doing the voice of Steinbrenner

  • Jajaja muy bueno.

  • hey george pass the calzone :P

  • Jerry has quite the vocabulary.

  • Mercurial. I still don't know what that means exactly within the context of his words. Genius always have original vocabularies.

  • Constantly shifty and changing. I.e. Steinbrenner was always making random decisions and turnabouts based upon personal whims.

  • I'll take you outside and I'm gonna show you what it's like, lol.

    Hire this man!

  • haha love the buddy rich lines

  • Jesus Christ!! You mean that rant at the movies was based on an original rant by no one else but Buddy Rich??? Now that's a piece of interesting information!

  • i'd say julia is just as attractive (maybe even more so) when she's "george"

  • Yaaaay we're fighting on the internet!

  • my fav

    one day ill do that

  • My name is George I'm unemployed and i live with my parents.

    jajajajajajaj hilarious

  • all spanish speaking countries...

    travel! it's good for you.

  • ive heard spanish ppl laugh they say HA like the rest of the world, with an H sound not J.

  • yeah, but the "j" is pronounced differently there... exactly like when you laugh. mmmkay?

  • now THAT explains years of confusion.

  • you know there are plenty of other phonemes than the ones used in english right? RIGHT?

    hahahahaha or

    jajajajaja or

    kakakakaka

    etc etc etc

  • Yeah, but English is the international language so its confusing when someone you expect to go haha pulls a jaja.

And kaka means poop so I'm pretty sure nobody uses that.

and etc is an abbreviation for "so on", "and so on" or "the same way". so that's just off topic.

And finally i wrote that comment six months ago, and that other person explained J sounds like H in Spanish which i already knew but it never occurred to me they would spell HA with a J, it seemed like common sense to ME. Okay?

  • again, Spanish and English are not the only languages in the world

take the advice from knutoletube: "travel! it's good for you. "

Btw, "kakaka" is if you want to laugh in portuguese.

    You're welcome.

  • Well i speak 3 languages, understand two more languages and I'm planning to study another language, either Spanish or Portuguese. And I've visited eight countries which is a lot considering I freaking hate to travel.

Just saying I'm not some kind simple minded red neck idiot. Though I did not know Portuguese speaking people spelled haha with K's, I find that hilarious... I guess that was a bit simple minded, lol.

  • fair enough :)

  • Who told you that "kakaka" is laughing in Portuguese? Our alphabet doesn't even have k's. We write it like everyone else - hahahaha - or lol etc....

  • @josviegas well then the brasilians I know must speak another language.

  • well, got me there....

  • .....and non spanish speaking countries.

  • if larry david is Steinbrenner's voice is he also the man who we always see from behind?

  • no, larry david is not that actual steinbrenner character, only the voice.

  • No, he was just the voice

  • "hire this man"....lmao

  • Elaine looked soooo hot at the beginning of the episode.

  • Oh wow!! So the voice of George Steinbrenner was Larry David!!! I didn't know that! Cool!!!

    Stienbrenner: Hire this man!

    Hahahaha!

  • JERRY IS THE MAN

  • if i have to tell ya again ill tske you outside and show you what its like! haha

  • One of my favorites.

  • Great episode! The hot blonde in the coffee shop and movie theater is Michelle Pfeiffer's sister Dedee.

  • Speaking your mind/Speaking the truth does work. It's a long road, but it works.

  • "Why don't we step outside and I'll show you what it's like...!"

  • This is so fucking GRRRRREAT!

  • 1 of my many many many fav episodes of seinfeld..

  • Nice clip!

  • "My name is George. I'm unemployed and I live with my parents." That has to be one of the best lines ever. LOL!

  • I love when she kicks out the chair for him to sit in right after he says that line.

  • @7beers The greatest line ever spoken by a "man". hahahaha.

  • Wow fucking hot. The Pfeiffer sisters are beautiful.
