Only character I hated in this scene was the fat one who became mayor of Who-Ville. Little punk was a bully beore he even became mayor. I'll bet when he got older, he thought to himself, "I'll tease more people when I become mayor." So he decided to get into politics and become mayor who bullies innocent Who's. Well, congratu-fucking-lations, Mayor Fatass!

I actually thought this movie was good. Some of the Whos and how they looked was weird but in terms of the flashback, I don't get why people hated it. I didn't see it as a story about why the Grinch is who he is. I could see he was always against Christmas. But just as it was said, he got into it because of Martha. But when the Mayor and the other kids humiliated him in front of her, for the gift and how his face looked that just made him hate Christmas more.
