  • lol, can u feel that electromagnetic field from all that wire?

  • @C00lman555 Haha! No. But you can hear a high-pitch frequency coming from all of the battery packs.

  • @C00lman555 lol... it looks like a koo costume, but stupid dance... I guess nobody is nobody really notices, LMAO everytime.

  • @C00lman555 lol... it looks like a koo costume, but stupid dance... I guess nobody is nobody really notices, LMAO everytime. now that I really pay attention... its like a dance then he poses once or twice while into it then starts punching the floor again lol LMFAO..

  • Could of stood AWAY from the light -.-

  • Where did you get the inverter(s) from? often too high a frequency will make the wire fail. So will poor joints. You may want to check your connections; a moving outfit like that & maybe you have tiny breaks in continuity that you cant see.

How did you affix it to your clothing (cargo/military pants?)

  • @FaradayToRemember I purchased the wire as a kit from eBay. Basically you buy a batter pack with inverter included that has 10ft of wire on it. The wires are pretty much done for. I'm sure I could fix it, but they would break again. Definitely learned a lesson about custom costume design with this though.

To connect the wire to my clothing I used very strong clear fishing line and sewed it together with a thick needle. IIt is also best to use a stiff fabric, like fake leather.

  • @FaradayToRemember I bought the el wire as complete units with inverters already attached. Purchased on eBay. The wires actually broke because I didn't plan the design around my joints well enough. I attached the wire with fishing line, hand-sewn to fake leather pants and jacket.

  • Very Nice! 1 question tho: what is the track called?

  • @9Joel9 The song is 'I'm Feeling You' by a Japanese group called 'Capsule'.

  • @EZdick1234 Capsule ROCKs!!!!

  • looks like original suit

  • lol @ 0:10

  • how did you bond the el wire to the jacket?

  • @DancingTixe It was hand-sewn with fishing line.

  • amazing costume, stupid dance...

  • How do you manage to clean that thing?! cuz usually if you use it in a club or something it will usually get really smelly from smoke and you sweating...

  • @xtr5000 That is a good question. I actually haven't worn it enough for it to get to that level...

And sadly the wires started to fail, so I gave up on it out of heartbreak... :(

  • @EZdick1234 How much did it took to start failing?

  • @xtr5000 I was wearing it for about 6 hours when the first leg failed. Then the second leg failed the next day followed by part of the jacket later that night. Sucks..

  • @EZdick1234

Tron Legacy Costume: 10 hours + 50 bills of EI Wire

Halloween Party: 6 hours + Party Cover

    Leg failing: only SUCKS

Winning the Halloween Costume Party: It has NO cost.

  • smooth moves bro

  • that was really funny. The costume was cool, the "dance moves" werent

  • how many batteries and el wires did it take?? that is very impressive!

  • @FutureLaugh I used 7 sets of 10' el wires. Which is 14 AA batteries. Thanks!

  • @FutureLaugh I used 7 10ft long strands of el wire. So 14 AA batteries.

  • how many EL wires did u use nice work with the costume cool moves :D haha joke :)

  • @bioniclegods I used 7 10' wires. My moves are custom, just like the costume... HAHA!

  • sweet

  • looks niiiice! what costume did you use to put on the EL wire??

  • @RuggedRuckus I used thick fishing line. It is hard to sew with, but if you have the patience and time, it pays off.

  • I would so take this to a rave!

  • Whats the song used in this?

  • @TheGiocoBrothers The song is "Capsule - I'm Feeling You". It is a Japanese group.

  • Great Job! i am planning an El Wire costume for Ultra Music Fest in Miami.

  • @backspackle im doing the same thing man ill see u theree

  • Where do you get your EL wire?

  • @YoukuroKageStudios I purchased it on eBay. You can buy them with pre-connected battery packs.
