Its sandbox right now but i am sure it will change when the real game is released.

@WolfireGames How difficult would it be to have the color for each type of blood be different? I know people LOVE bright red blood, but it's only the arterial blood that is that color. The venous (slow leaky-drippy) blood is an amazingly beautiful deep-purple red.

Also- fun fact: when you suffer heat exhaustion or stroke your venous blood is more "crimson" than normal because your body sweat out all your electrolytes, which it uses to help strip oxygen from your blood cells. OM NOM NOM SALT!

@UsernameRoffe Hace you ever seen blood? It's bright red. Red Dead Redemption has the color about right. It is bright...flaming...red. It dries brown in a pretty short time frame on cloth and things. If you thought that wasn't realisitc for a game, then I'd say that portal guns exist, the Combine did in fact enslave mankind in seven hours and Chuck Norris is my father. Blood is dark red if your physical health is at what would be considered normal.. No matter how many games you've played. @UsernameRoffe I've bled plenty. It's bright red, then brown on cloth, but stays red on skin. And really, very few games get the color or consisitency right at all, same for movies. It's too dark in many games and too thin in others, like Dead Space. Darker really doesn't show much other than that maybe you've got a bit more iron in your system. And relax, It is a game after all, and, I'm not being cool, I use Sean O'Connery for my cool voice? Civil discussion rather than angry flaming?

@Korban3 As much as I would want to sit here and discuss this mere matter with you considering the FACT that the darker and thicker your blood is the more oxygen and (as you've already said) iron it contains, which believe it or not is the reason we have blood, as well as the fact that blood almost becomes black due to the deep red/brown tinted tone when coagulated on skin I don't think I will. Since nothing I say will change your opinion on what appearance healthy blood has. Good day to you.

@UsernameRoffe it should rather be a random, as blood can easily be this red if the blood comes from a artery, but if comes from a vein (i don't know how to say the opposite of artery in english) it will be quite dark, random because of all the in betweens like in the fingers. Would be kinda cool

@akblabla Yea well that mostly due to the difference in amount of blood. Just like coffee for example, its seethrough if its a small amount but almost pitch black if it is a lot. However, cool as it might be I think it would be taking it just a step too far ;)
