  • The guy in the video sounds like a moron.

  • Rick Warren, you can POUND MY MOUND!!!!

  • i don't like this guy

  • unfunny

  • Rick Warren is a big windbag and I will humiliate him with my shimmy without even mentioning Obama'a accidental choice.

  • Totally unfunny.

  • "Purchase-Driven Life" LOL!

  • another comment by another useless WOP

  • I would randomy love to stumble amongs a group of hippies on acid, and then you stumble in and they gut off your genitals and make you eat them.

  • is there a special program to make vids like this? if so could someone plz tell me.

    Thanks in advance

    :)

  • Rick Warren is a homo, not that there's anything wrong with being gay. There is something wrong, however, with being a hypocrite.

  • "There is something wrong, however, with being a hypocrite."

This from personal experience no doubt...

  • can we say the same thing about you broadjumprer? probably, and most certainly can!

  • @ wntoply6

And we can probably, and most certainly say the same about YOU!

  • depending on what you want to pin on me there broadjumper. however, thankfully i never speak on behalf of god. if i am a hyporcite, it's a hypocrite of humanity, not of self appointed divinity. learn the difference broadjumper, it surely will do you a world of good.

  • And exactly what are you trying to pin on me there, wntoply? Where did I claim to speak for God or appoint myself as divine?

And bully for you speaking out for humanity, GOD knows we're SHORT of people who are willing to let their feelings be known... Oh, and thanks for the 'lesson', but I already know the difference, and I thank God that I do.

  • i'm not pinning anything on you broad. the fact you have to name yourself something that can be taken as a woman fucker tells lots about you without explanation.

if you felt i was pinning something on you...you're very insecure.

seems you jump over broads to get to men however.

do any of your friends know you're a self hating closeted gay man?

you know broad, you just gotta watch what you say today, you might just disclose more about yourself than you want!

now 4 your vehement useless denials!

  • wntoply, you're a friggin moron, the handle refers to something ENTIRELY different (try looking up the etymology of the word), but the fact that YOU equate it with a sexual assault says more about you than me...

But feel free to keep up the cheap insults and lame innuendo, that's typical of loudmouths like you, you've got nothing to say and certainly nothing worth listening to. I have nothing to deny because your opinon of me meaningless and I won't be drawn into a childish pissing match.

  • @broadjumper1

yeah, you keep telling yourself that broadjumper...you keep telling yourself that, and maybe one day you'll believe it.

you also have no clue what "loudmouths" do or are unless it's a being closet case like you who is a self hating homosexual!

  • @wntoply6

    Right backatcha slick....

  • oh, i never said i wasn't gay...slick! you so far have tried to lie your way out of it.

  • @wntoply6

That you're gay is obvious, just as obvious as your attempts to smear anyone who doesn't accept your PoV on the subject....and your taunts don't bother me in the least, but if that's the best you've got it's just as obvious why you're not taken seriously.

  • @broadjumper1

someone once said...it takes one to know one.

but i'm not asking you to accept my point of view, i'm asking you to listen to truth. you know with truth is broad ...don't you?

lol, my taunts don't bother you in the least, but you sure as hell make a big deal out of denying your homosexuality!

  • @wntoply6

'it takes one to know one" Really? What's next, the "I'm rubber you're glue" taunt? Seriously? This is what qualifies as a rational argument where you're concerned?

Truth? the truth is that I've neither confirmed or denied your assertions because they don't deserve a response and the best truth of all is that I don't care what you think of me and if it makes you happy to believe I'm gay, so be it, but I'm done responding to your trolling.

  • now why is that a taunt?

what's the matter were taunts, when you were a child, that much of a hinderence to your development that as an adult you can't handle them?

i've not trolled here broad, i merely made statements; you've responded just as i suspected you would.

look me up when you wanna break your silence and come out of your closet. i can help you adjust and reject the "christian" hate that soooooo influences you.

you poor soul! come on honey, break free of the ties that bind you!

  • seems like a connection between men with sore asses and sore feelings, this paster has donated millions to aids related causes, lets cut him some slack.

  • what was his motivation for this gymer. less than honorable i'm sure.

  • This was pointless. Gays LOVE to throw around the word Homophobe at anyone that remotely disagrees with the "lifestyle." You've also obviously never read PDL, or realize what Warren does with the profits from the book.

  • I'll actually applaud Obama for that. Rick Warren was criticized for inviting Obama to his church because Obama was Pro-choice. He did it anyway. Now Obama's returning the courtesy despite the criticism.

  • As far as evangelical preachers go Rick Warren is mild. He's homophobic but he never talks about gays deserving to die from AIDS like Jerry Falwell and Pat Robertson

  • captkirk999- i was preparing a post into another tab on an entirely different video and somehow posted here- my comment was not meant for this video, and my apologies for the mixup-

  • I don't like the guy or what he stands for,but if Obama wants him there, then who cares?

  • My family got me one of his books for xmas.

I'm not sure whether I should take a shit in it, burn it, or do both.

  • take it back for the money, cash is softer on the sphincter

  • I don't have the receipt, plus I'd hate for someone else to buy it so I'm going with the firey part.

  • Seems like a waste, you have no pianos that need holding up or anything?

  • the UN would have NEVER stood MUTE over the past 6 months while Hamas rained THOUSANDS (total?) of rockets down on inocent civilians in Israel.. neither would the MEDIA

  • Rick Warren is a hateful bigot.

Obama should be ashamed of himself for giving this evil man a prominent place of honor at his inaugural.

  • right, I guess he should have chosen the amazing atheist instead...Warren is HARDLY evil...

  • Obama should have picked Dawkins. Problem solved.

  • Dawkins writings aren't even suitable for door stops...

  • I know, they belong on everyones desks. And in all bedside tables at hotels.

  • Wrong again, they are most suitable for reading while on the crapper...just in case of emergencies

  • That comment obviously comes from someone who has never even read a Dawkins book. Read one, and try again.

  • Wrong again, I've read "The God Delusion" and others...speaking of toilet paper...

  • That is quite a good book. Honest, skeptical look at the real toilet paper, the bible. Who could ever read the bible and take it seriously. A talking snake? Come on.

  • In reviewing The Dawkins Delusion?: Atheist Fundamentalism and the Denial of the Divine by Alister McGrath, Franicis Collins says "Addressing the conclusions of The God Delusion point by point with the devastating insight of a molecular biologist turned theologian, McGrath dismantles the argument that science should lead to atheism, and demonstrates instead that Dawkins has abandoned his much-cherished rationality to embrace an embittered manifesto of dogmatic atheist fundamentalism."

  • haha, yea. Speaking of dogmatic fundamentalism... Anyone can write a book full of pathetic fluff, especially by grabbing onto a best seller title and attempting to do a "debunking". Morons like you will just eat it up, because you don't even know what rationalism is.

  • Great, I guess only MORONS like YOU are allowed to pass judgement on a book without reading it...Read it, TRY again, they talk to me about rationalism.

And if McGrath (noted molecular biologist) and Collins (former head of the Human Genome Project) ate just "anybody", there's stil hope for you I suppose.

  • Smart people can be very stupid. You are attempting to appeal to authority. Attempting to say "These men in white coats know everything". Just because they are PhD's, or have written papers in the past, doesn't make them always right. It doesn't even make them correct in their own field. Everything has to be taken on its own merit. And, BTW, the head of the human genome project, is not a creationist.

  • And stupid people ARE very stupid, I'm simply stating that there's more than enough reason to doubt Dawkins and his pile of dogmatic atheist fundamentalism. BTW, the head of the human genome project WAS a creationist, that's WHY I said former...

  • He believes in a god. I don't think he is a creationist. But even if he is, mapping the human genome doesn't make him an expert on evolution, and expert doesn't mean always correct. Hell, even Dawkins admits to flaws in all of his books, which he corrects in forewords and other publications. Its called academic honesty. Its what evolution has that creationism lacks.

  • I never said it makes him an expert anymore than Dawkins is an expert on the existence of God. And Dawkin's so called intellectual honesty is well hidden forewards in that they're short and ambiguous. And and get this, it's entirely possible to believe in evolution and creation...but rather that admit both possibilities you, like Dawkins, prefer to throw stones and say were "just stupid" on the subject.

  • Apparently no one is an expert on the existence of god then. You can study the phenominon for decades and never be an expert.

And his honesty is not hidden at all. A simple google search, or purchasing the selfish gene seems to pretty much refute that.

And yes, you can believe is a certain amount of "creation", such as seeding the earth with single celled beings, but there is not a shred of evidence to say it was so. The default is not "its there, prove me wrong".

  • I never asked you to prove me wrong

  • I never claimed I was going to. I am merely stating that there is no rational reason to believe in a god any more then there is a reason to believe in a teapot floating in space. In both cases, the default position is to believe it does not exist until sufficient evidence is presented to prove otherwise. To date, none has been presented for either. The only "evidence" is purely hypothetical, and not based on any concrete evidence presented.

  • Yes, there is more evidence that what you claim, but the evidence YOU need won't be revealed, at least until it's "late in the game"

  • I see. You have no evidence so you rely on "You will die, then you will be sorry!". I don't buy it.

  • I'm not asking you to buy it, but haven't seen what I've seen or experienced what I have. You can go your own way, that's your choice, but you're in no position to claim I have no evidence.

  • Ok, so, your god WANTS me to believe in him, correct? Why doesn't he reveal himself to me, like he did to you? Do I need to do some Cocaine? Maybe some LSD? Or does your god just hate me?

  • God does, he has, you're just not listening.

  • Dude totally with you on this! Drop acid and talk to Jesus. But from my experience do not look at the cracks in the wall. They really do follow you on shrooms or acid.

  • I liked you until you listed all your achievments. Looks like somebody needs a lesson in HUMILITY. Yea the stuff Christ taught! By the way I am a Christian Scientist who developed several medical devices with a patent! Also, coach youth in hockey, football, baseball and Tae Kwon Do. Now I get to brag solder boy. "Blessed are the meek, they shall inhert the earth".

  • Good for you. There's no bragging about my achievements, they just happen to be fact. All things are possible through God...if you're jealous, do something for a change other than sniping.

  • BTW wojo, meek doesn't mean you're a doormat. I praise God for all my abilities. Now, do us a favor a go pick fights elsewhere 'cause you're wasting my time cause you're WAY off the subject.

  • Collins is a "theistic evolutionist". "I take the view that God, in His wisdom, used evolution as His creative scheme. I don't see why that's such a bad idea. That's pretty amazingly creative on His part. And what is wrong with that as a way of putting together in a synthetic way the view of God who is interested in creating a group of individuals that He can have fellowship with -- us? Why is evolution not an appropriate way to get to that goal?"

  • Thats... just... no... I will define creationism in a debatable form. Creationism is where an intelligent designer created the earth and beings on it. Not started it with a big bang. What collins believes does not fit that definition. And regardless, I don't care what any individual person thinks.

  • "And regardless, I don't care what any individual person thinks."

    'cept dawkins...

  • I don't care what he thinks, but I do agree with, and respect, his books. He is a good writer, and a valuable scientist.

  • Speaking of intellectual honesty...

  • What about it? He has a lot of it.

  • But you don't

  • Sorry, how is that? You don't get to make unsubstantiated claims without backing them up.

  • You claim to not care what anyone say or thinks, yet you channel, defend or name drop Dawkins every chance you get....yet when I counter his opinion with that of equally learned men of science, all of sudden, they're dumb or "not experts." Sorry, that's intellectually dishonest.

  • I have said smart people can be dumb about somethings. Expert does not mean always right. As for "name dropping", I have done no such thing. I have defended his work when it was criticized by you. I have never appealed to authority once. I have only ever ripped down your notion of "see, I know of scientists who disagree".

And good one. Yahweh is all knowing, etc, yet he cannot speak in a way that I can hear. Sounds totally plausible.

  • "Yahweh is all knowing, etc, yet he cannot speak in a way that I can hear. Sounds totally plausible"

He has spoken, you just choose to ignore him and those who keep reminding you. But that's your choice. Good luck with that.

  • If he is all knowing, he should be able to speak in a way I can hear. Not through other people, because other people are often crazy or deceptive. It would speak in a way we can all understand, instead of intentionally being deceptive. Sorry, but an all knowing being wouldn't be a shit about it.

  • We can know what God has said and know it alike. All we have to do is study His word. Just pick up a good English translation of the Bible.

  • "study his word". You mean, study what people claim is a deities word? You have no proof of it being honest. None. Sorry.

  • We have more than enough proof, you just chose to ignore and exclude what there is of it...makes it real easy for you.

  • Why, because YOU say so? Please, stop being such a child. There are perfectly good reasons as to why you're not spoken to by God the way I would speak with you.

But you're determined to have the last word and go wayyy of the subject, so be my guest.

  • What good reasons? You keep making claims and digging yourself deeper. I am actually getting more amused by each comment you make.

  • And I guess analogous possibilities are beyond your ability to reason, so be it...

  • I know. How could Obama pick this piece of shit to give the invocation?

  • How about a Parody on the UN being upset about Israel taking out Hamas a known TERROIST Organization, while they (the UN) stood MUTE over the past 6 months while Hamas rained THOUSANDS (total?) of rockets down on inocent civilians in Israel

  • Rick Warren is Council on Foreign Relations just like Clinton, Bush and Obama.

Wake up people it is a big scam. They think you are stupid and keep offering you false leaders.

  • Ok, by your logic, Mao Zedong and Joseph Stalin both helped the poor, so no one can criticize them at all. Vocally disagreeing with them would be like torturing kittens.

  • "Ok, by your logic, Mao Zedong and Joseph Stalin both helped the poor, so no one can criticize them at all. Vocally disagreeing with them would be like torturing kittens."

Talk about stretching the limits of valid comparison...Stalin/Mao/Warren. Which of these don't belong?

  • Did you read the comment I was responding to? The other person said you can't criticize Warren because he helped the poor.

  • Yes, I read it. And you comparing Warren's beliefs to those of Stalin or Mao is absurd. Warren has done much more good compared to the supposed harm you believe he's guilty of for calling homesexuality a sin and refusing to support it. Help the poor or AIDS sufferes doesn't make Warren better than the rest of us, but his commitment to faith and his actions far exceed what most of us will ever do.

  • I'm not comparing their beliefs. The person who I was talking to simply said that you can't criticize Warren because he helped the poor, and I was objecting to that. Warren is nothing like Stalin or Mao, except they both tried to help the poor. My comment's point was not that Warren is just like Mao, my point was that helping the poor isn't a shield from criticism.

  • I never said Warren should be shielded from criticism either, but calling him a homophobe (not that you did) is absurd too. This word is that homosexual's best ad hominem friend and has become virtually meaningless, like saying "I'm sorry" when you're really not.

  • depends on your criteria.

  • "depends on your criteria."

Bullshit, they are in NO WAY comparable.

  • actually everyone is comparable dependent upon the criteria used. You may not agree with it ... but that doesn't make it not true.

  • There are comparisons and invalid comparions, yours being the latter...and that's the truth.

  • Well no one is off the table when it comes to harmless jokes. I don't agree with Rick Warren on social issues like gay marriage and abortion and I don't know where he stands on the other issues, but I'm fine with him giving the invocation at Obama's inaguration. In fact I want different opinions to have a voice in the Obama administration and so does soon to be President Obama. So I disagree Warren, but I welcome him.

  • You make too much sense for a YouTube commentor. Please keep your logical, rational, reasonable comments to yourself. This is not the place for that!.....lol

  • I must have stupidophobia, because Rick Warren and his followers (especially in large numbers) scare the bejesus out of me.

  • Well ya got that right, I don't like you and I don't like your insane murdering bible god either! (smile)

  • humanity is boring, still talking about gay people? give it up they are not that special, they are just gay, let them be, just go pray to your nearest pedophile headquarters...

  • i guess this proves my theory! i was raised by religious people. They all believe that a well established architecture of lies is their reason to be and definitely supersedes truth.

  • Halarious!

  • ok, he may be bad, but you all have to admit that rick warren is purple when it comes to ministers. Hes not a batshit insane partisan(god damn america/Aids is the wrath of god on homosexual anyone?)

  • They've always got their panties in a bunch over soemthing...
