I reckon you should make use of your guitar skills: learn a repetoire of your favourite songs, (that'll hold up the boredom for at least a few hours!) then hit the streets and BUSK!!! (plus you'll earn some pennies too!)
See who you can get involved! Maybe you'll end up like the pied piper, leading a merry band of musicians, spoon players, and rat-a-tat-tatters!
Oh, I've had another mention of busking for a challenge, it may be a contender! My failed New Years Resolution last year was to go busking but I never went. Mostly because the idea scares the crap out of me! Big challenge thanks for the suggestion!!
