I've watched SG1 re-runs at least 5 times and Atlantis 3 and never get tired. SGU however I can't watch. The story line seems ok but the camera work is crap which is why I could not watch the new Battlestar. Why the f**k do they think that camera shake, slow zooming and panning can add atmospheric reality to SCI Fi, my imagination will do that thank you. I hope this does"nt get political like Battlestar either. The writers need to remember that SGU is SCI FI and not Wednesday at parliament.

Gou'ald are defeated and most are dead and fans reacted badly the the overuse of the Replicators, specificaly when they had them on Atlantis.
As fans have been complaining for years that the shows were stuck in the past and cheesy so they've gone another way with this. Whether they'll stick with it remains to be seen.
This makes it look like they're wanting to to Stargate:Voyager or Battlestar Ancient. It looks amazing, I just hope it doesn't end up trying to mimic either Voyager or BSG, cause those are two awesome series.

Huh... I thought the SGU series would be about going public with the Stargate program and the introduction of men as a whole to interplanetary relations. That thing about going billions of light years away from earth in a stowaway ship really took me off-guard.
It is daunting, certainly. Yet, it somehow unsettles me. I guess it is because their long-range sensors only get galaxy wide, and resorting to light to spot earth could be actually impossible...
