  • Thanks for uploading. Very fascinating. Also, quite horrible for the animals. Nonetheless, its very very interesting stuff, though I wonder what has truly been gained in terms of knowledge.

  • @mrjollypantsjolly fucking moralfags still don't get it. Nothing is true, everything is permitted. I seriously hope you don't still believe in right and wrong/heaven and hell. come on, its 2011.

  • wow. this is fascinating. If I had seen this in high school, I probably would've been a brain surgeon by now.

  • @beenn15 hahaha.

  • THIS IS VERY VERY INTERESTING....I ENJOYED IT MUCH.

  • This shit is awesome! and crazy! but AWESOME.

  • omg!!! wow!

  • left handers!! woot woot ^_^

  • that was so cool

  • i cant really say i agree with this. This is an extremely invasive, unpleasant procedure on a highly intelligent species for the sake of man's curiosity.

  • Actually it cures epilepsy that was otherwise killing these people. They discovered these strange effects after the fact.

  • @koeber They've altered the procedure though so they cut the anterior end of the Corpus Callosum but leave the posterior end in tact, this means that we don't see the same effects because visual crossover (though not motor cross-over) is retained.

  • This is a current technique for improving quality of life for people with debilitating epilepsy.

  • deep brain stimulation is likely to change that in the near future, however.

  • this is amazing

could you tell me how old this video is?

  • the study was in 1969 i'm assuming the video is made at approximately the same time.

  • I love science, but is sad waching those poor animals being abuse...

  • You could swap place with one of the monkeys.

  • perhaps we could use idiots like you with no concern for life of other sentient beings.

After all "person" with no feelings or concern for life isn't fully human.

  • This is great!

  • I saw this guy give a lecture today.

  • where did you get this video from? I'd like to use it as a source for an essay I'm writing!

  • ho what would happen if u split it up in the development part of ones life? like before it starts to format the brain.
