  • whats the soundtrack 1:33-1:45 gives me the chills

  • I wish my grandpa was like gandalf.

  • @euan777 sry, damn itouch and it's spell check.

  • Why didn't the baltic just use it's wings and fly back up?

  • @TKnuckles454 BALROG, NOT BALTIC....

  • The song is simply magic

  • That creature looks exactly like my math teacher......

  • @uncommonskiII so your math teacher looks really badass?

  • anybody know the song?

  • @legojoker111 hips don't lie - shakira

  • @anal554442 dickhead i was talking about the song while he is falling

  • @legojoker111 "Gandalf falls"

  • balls.

  • When I saw this in Two Towers I fucking shit myself. Greatest movie series ever.

  • He defied the laws of physics to catch up to his sword, then the Balrog, just so he could continue kicking the shit out of it. What a dude.

  • I just jizzed when he caught his sword 1:36

  • @one1WANchan... "Fly you fools."

  • @jake19murphy doesn't he say : run you fools?

  • @bloempje1618 No, 'Fly you Fools'

  • @bloempje1618 no he says Fly.

  • what does he say when he falls? 1:22

  • the sound of when he grabs his sword and the music is fucking imense!

  • 1:23, I've never seen a scream like that, just like a horror and panic...

    Excellent movie.. Two towers too...

  • This is one of the most thrilling scenes ive ever seen...makes me cry everytime i watch it...

  • its hard to imagine how that balrog was once a Maia, a spirit of light. (yes, i'm a lotr nerd)

  • @Thelargir i know he was the same as gandalf (and yes im sort of a lotr geek too)

  • youre right. he was the same type of being as gandalf, although he was probably a follower of Aulë, before he joined Melkors followers. Gandalf was a follower of Manwë, and apprenticed with Nienna, learning compassion.

(let the geeking commence :P )

  • but i might think that if gandalf defeated it while he was like he is now imagine his true power for he's probably greater than his white form. it is also said that he is the only one for coming as old men to conciel there powers

  • i know!

  • He's Gandalf AND Magneto. He's 2x the coolness.

  • fuuck, I wanted the pretty music from the first movie.

  • it only just occurred to me that the balrog has wings.....hmmm

  • Probably couldn't spread them enough to fly. That fall was kinda tight for the balrog, and he was probably in no position to starting flying xD

  • Indeed. But I think it's not only the tight fall. Tolkien never stated the Balrogs could fly, although in the LotR version of the creature, he seemed to have something that appeared to be wings (In the film and game, literally wings), but nobody knows whether Tolkien meant them figuratively or they could actually be used to perform air manoeuvres. In fact, in no story do they seem to fly, most relevantly in The Fall of Gondolin, in which they even ride dragons. D.R.

  • Wow, Gandalf is seriously one bad ass old man. Gotta love him! Woot woot! <3

  • Anyone noticed as Gandalf is falling in the beginning that his sword, Glamdring, is upside-down and when he takes it, it is good:D. I just say this because I just saw it now.

Is what I see right or am I wrong?

  • Hey, wait, it IS sped up! Normal fall is :72 secs. This fall is :68 secs. Not that it's a big deal or anything ():

  • hoho even satan is smaller.

  • Good job at combining FotR & TT! And the lighting is really good :) But it just seems a bit sped-up, is it?

  • Gandalf is such a badass.....

  • Very good video.

  • Luv this piece of music !!

  • The song is called The Bridge of Khazad Dum

  • The end of it anyway ( I edited it so it just shows the end music and uploaded it onto youtube)

  • it's actually Foundations of Stone, from the TT soundtrack.

  • See nerdy stuff can be kewl too edebbws07 :)

  • i think the song is called "Hymn for Gandalf", but it got banned from youtube, cause of some rights or somethin..

  • If you ask me, this was one of the most influential parts of the film(s). That, and the destruction of the Dark Tower. But I believe this is supposed to symbolize falling from life into death, and then conquering death to come back and do what you set out to.

  • i never thought of it like that but i totally agree with you!

    gud job

  • whats the song any one no

  • I second that, nice job mate.

  • nice job on merging the fotr fight with the TT fight flawlessly.
