  • Dude there was definitely subliminal messages in that movie towards Africans. All the blue guys were played by black actors. They looked black. The Tree of Life is based from a tree in Africa, which is called the Tree of Life. LOL All the human guys were white, except one Latino. Umm what else. The fact that the blue people were very agile, like Blacks. LOL I can go on. It may not be racist, but there was definitely subliminal messages. Still a good movie though

  • @MikeBNumba6 they seemed more indian to me, i doubt all the actors were black.

  • @LyeLye another dumbass. All of them were black, you literate shit

  • @justinC504 Thats nice that you have to resort to name calling to make yourself feel better. But the fact is even if the actors seemed black to you, they were not all black. Zoe Saldana The lead avatar girl was Dominican/Puerto Rican. Her father in the movie Wes Studi was infact American Indian Charokee. There was also a few white Navi for example Nicole Dionne and Nikie Zambo. So before calling me names and thinking you are right all the time, why dont you go and look up some facts. Dumbass.

  • @LyeLye Dumbass piece of shit. Zoe Saldana is BLACK. Its the one drop rule. Dominican/PR is NOT a RACE, it a nationality dipshit. Zoe Saldana has more than 60% of BLACK AFRICAN blood running through her veins !! She damn sure aint not white neanderthal no-bathing cracker you shit. Get it straight and stay in your fucking place!

  • @justinC504 Oh ok, I didnt know that but thank you. Anyways the father in it is definitly an indian. Also neanderthal? Thats a caveman and thats where black and white people came from. Just because my skin color is white doesnt mean i walk around with a mallet and a protruding forehead. Also you dont have to be so fucking rude to people. My argument STILL stands, not all the navi were black. If anything you act like a neanderthal.

  • cool room .

  • mate let me specify the situation for you okay?

throughout the history of films which concerns a superior civilisation opressing a lesser civilisation. it seems that it's always the white guy who comes along and saves the day.. it seems that the opressed natives cannot do anything without the help of this "superior" white protagonist!!

e.g. dances with wolves, pocahontas, the last samurai.. all white guys..

im not saying it's racist btw, im just saying it's patronizing... nuff said brap!

  • ok ima make myself clear on this situation. people try to make this racist. i never would have noticed the whole "white supremacy" reference in this movie, if it werent for the internet. i respect why people see this. my point is, in the proper context of the film, i truly do not believe white supremacy was not intended in any way whatsoever.

    Long comment ftw

  • @slumpee84 Except in all those movies the hero was white. In this movie the hero was blue. Only by being blue was he able to walk, talk, eat, and shit with the other blue people. The blue people are the most racist ones yet. The army guys just wanted rocks. You get what I'm saying?

They had a deadline and pulled the kill-switch to get into position to drill and fist pump the hell out of the virgin ground beneath the whoa whoa tree, which was obviously a drug reference.

    End of story, blam!

  • @planetofthescums this. WINNER.

  • Cuz people are fucked. It's a movie.

Sit down, shut up, watch it, go home

  • well, I've come to a solution, make all of the avatar people white, and the blue people can rescue them and that would fix the problem.

Since this film is mostly computerized that shouldn't be too hard. grow up people, this is why china has taken over the manufacturing sector in the US, because we are too busy worrying about crap like this and meanwhile they are teaching their children to do things with there hands and brains. oh no, am i being racist, i said Chinese people?

  • wheres the kittens in that movie.

  • blue dudes faces look like kittens

  • I don't think the film was racist but l love how white Americans are laughing at the minorities and calling them ridiculous instead watching the film again and try to see it from their prospective. It's as if only white America knows what's offensive. At a time white America didn't think segregation and the Jim Crow laws were offensive and wrong the response used to be "why do the negros want to be with us ? ".

  • that is a really tacky outfit.

  • i haven't seen the movie so i can't say personally. but the premise of this prejudice is based on the "white messiah" syndrome. hollywood has along history of white superiority when it comes to hero's and villains. the hero cowboy always wore a "white" hat for example. so again, it's the the white dude who saves the non white race. implying the blue people aren't capable of doing it themselves.

  • @tomitstube

But the white guys are the enemy in this movie. In fact, I don't think the main character was even all that helpful in fighting off the humans.

  • @AtomAppleOMGizzle ~ still haven't seen it, so if what you say is true, then you make valid points to the contrary.

  • nah, its k

  • thanks?

  • I WANNA BE BLUE

  • @mastachiefs49 MAKE ME BLOO TOOO
