resharim and zekrom are programed in the DS cartridge not to appear shiny so Soft resetting wont help. so i think the only way to get a shiny zekrom is to hack

It's the same with the shiny form, so they may be wanting to release a Lv. 1 Zekrom that's shiny, like they did with Dialga, Palkia and Giritina.
It's almost impossible to get it because there is some kind of blok on the shiny reshiram and zekrom, so you can SR all you want but you won't get it.

Unfortunately, a shiny Reshiram, Zekrom, and Victini are all completely impossible to achieve without Action Replay or some other similar device. It was deliberately coded so that it couldn't be ever encountered.

You actually can get Zekrom in its Shiny form. You need to kill it in N's Castle, and after, it will appear at Dragonspiral Tower's top. There, you can fight him as a normal legendary pokémon, and it can appear shiny that way.
@MegaDbzfan101 If he is playing a Japanese game, my theory is that maybe traded pokemons will retain their original name formatting. So maybe that "General" you talk about was traded from a american game, which isn't weird nowadays with all the wi-fi trading. There are foreign pokemons that will unlock their original language description in the pokedex, so it isn't weird that possibly traded pokemons can retain their namespace, which wouldnt conflict with the game as you cant change its nick

Zekrom and Reshiram CAN be shiny. Victini can not. To get Zekrom and Reshiram Shiny, Before you beat the Pokemon Leauge, Fill Up Your Party and EVERY box so that Reshiram/Zekrom can NOT be caught. Therefore, It will move to Dragon Spiral tower, where you can SR and get a Shiny one. But, this is a LONG and PAINFUL Process. @TJBwestlake 1.5 out of 100 is for normal pokemon and 1.178 is for legendary pokemon you can get shiny zekrom and reshiram if you beat them the first time you go to dragonspiral tower there you can get him shiny but save before the fight if you dont get shiny you just turn it off and then back on and then do it again its a pain in the *** but its worth it

How to use cheats properly.
1.Find someone who wants to clone their pokemon via Global trade (usually want a impossible pokemon).The rarer their pokemon is,the better.
2.Quickly hack that pokemon.
3.Trade.
And there you go!Using cheats to stop people cheating!

You actually can get Zekrom in its Shiny form. You need to kill it in N's Castle, and after, it will appear at Dragonspiral Tower's top. There, you can fight him as a normal legendary pokémon, and it can appear shiny that way.

@MegaDbzfan101 If he is playing a Japanese game, my theory is that maybe traded pokemons will retain their original name formatting. So maybe that "General" you talk about was traded from a american game, which isn't weird nowadays with all the wi-fi trading. There are foreign pokemons that will unlock their original language description in the pokedex, so it isn't weird that possibly traded pokemons can retain their namespace, which wouldnt conflict with the game as you cant change its nick

You cannot get them as of yet, once the B/W movie is revealed I do believe there is a shiny zekrom/reshiram giveaway along with two other pokemon, which are shiny

Man, one thing that I hate about shiny Zekrom and Reshiram is that people aways want them over wifi. They want them at level one for pete's sake! It's stupid! If I had an Action Replay for my DSi and got one I would just give it away to someone over wifi for nothing. It's an insult just to even own one! They're worthless! The only special shiny is a non hacked one. All the rest are just COUNTERFIETS! Thumbs up if you agree with me.

You can't trade level 9 and under ones on the GTS. I tried it. There's a lock on Pokemon obtained with any encounter code.

It's especially rediculous when they offer a sh*tty pokemon, like a level 1 Oshawott or somethin'.
Seems to me like the world has lost all, if any, common sense they had. At LEAST 15% of all GTS trades are actually reasonably anyhow, maybe not even THAT much! And sometimes the pokemon they offer doesn't even compare to the rarity of what they WANT! It also annoys me that most commonly, pokemon that you'll receive from the GTS, have the WORST stats. Ok, I'm done. :D

Oh, and a tip to all who use the GTS on an almost everday basis!
Don't be fooled by a pokemon that is of the following:
Shiny
Level 100
Pokemon's OT is same as the offerer
I've commonly recieved these kinds of pokemon, and they are almost ALWAYS haxed, and their stats are of no potential. And you can't fix 'em up because their have reached the maximum and highest level. (100 :P)

@Marshmellowbird its funny cause there is no shiny zekrom or reshiram even possible the games code freezes it if you try to make the normal ones shiny however you can make one shiny with a modifier code and hacked pokemon like that aren't allowed on the GTS so people arfe never getting what they want when they ask for a level 1 legendary. i'm a hacker but i have gotten quite a few legit shiny legendaries all on my channel

Zekrom and Reshiram CAN be shiny. Victini can not. To get Zekrom and Reshiram Shiny, Before you beat the Pokemon Leauge, Fill Up Your Party and EVERY box so that Reshiram/Zekrom can NOT be caught. Therefore, It will move to Dragon Spiral tower, where you can SR and get a Shiny one. But, this is a LONG and PAINFUL Process. Only those who are dedicated can do this >.> I would know, I have a Shiny Zekrom and my Friend Traded me the Shiny Reshiram. We took the challenge together :p

and a shiny has a WAAAAY less chnce thn 1.5 the chanses are 1 in 8182

@TJBwestlake 1.5 out of 100 is for normal pokemon and 1.178 is for legendary pokemon you can get shiny zekrom and reshiram if you beat them the first time you go to dragonspiral tower there you can get him shiny but save before the fight if you dont get shiny you just turn it off and then back on and then do it again its a pain in the *** but its worth it

@kemiboy11 It would mess up the Owerworld Sprites. They have sprites in the overworld kinda like palkia, mewtwo, pretty much every intractable pokemon. Plus its Zekrom "The Black" And Reshiram "The White" in the "LEGENDS"!! was that a descent explanation ?
