  • ARGH, IT'S SWEET ANN!!

  • This is a person on drugs singing this his/her name is OvERdOs

  • Is----is--that program.....

    VOCALOID !?!? OAO!?!

  • Lovely :)

  • GLaDOS's litle drunk sister MS-DOS singing song...

  • Grammar police. it would be: My Computer and I

  • @LucasJayLikesgaming I was going to say that. Hmph... :)

  • I actually like the off-beat-ness of it haha, it's pretty interesting

  • errmm... what?

  • ;D I think Miriam is drunk.

  • to me i think len just played portal =.=

  • Guys, it's Miriam .__. you can tell by looking at the screen.

    Anyway, good job with the .vsq! Although the timing is slightly off ^^;;

  • it sounds.... like lola? or Miriam?

  • at 1:15....

    "Meeeeeeee"

I'm sorry, but that's when I just lost it and cracked up.

I mean, great job on the video, but the voice makes me laugh because of the way it pronounces things. XD

  • The theme of Jarret is a lot better without the voice... plz don't put the voice

  • She sounds like a posh english lady lol

  • lol i knew this was Vocaloid b4 i read the description. which Vocaloid r u using? sounds like Len

  • this computer is a lie

  • I space out for a second and I hear something about jesus xD I realize it's the part "And Tore me to pieces" but I swear it sounded like something about Jesus

  • This is great! I just got portal yesterday and I'm in testing chamber 18. lol I played it for like three hours.

  • @MyCatEatsBrains i finish the game in less than one hour :P

  • @IvanSantos96

I've finished it twice now. :P

  • Summarizing a very long commentary that I almost posted, even knowing how old this video is (lol):

This wasn't great, but it had potential. Main issues are pitch bend and rhythm. Don't separate consecutive notes.

It was a nice start though.

  • grezz that sounds awfull

  • @rossy791 yeah. its funny

  • Is That Sweet ann ? Or Miram Or Prima I can't Tell T ^ T Oh well I lisen to The Japanesse Ones

  • Comment removed

  • Ya know, this vocaloid sounds a lot like the original voice for this song.

  • nice!

how long did it take you to finish?

  • It sounds like my piano teacher.

  • Both the title and the song make me laugh. :D 5/5

  • good day mate im auzie glados complete all the chambahs and there will be a barbie.

  • it sounds like a retarded robot! lmao!

  • vocaloid : hatsune miku

  • No, there's NO WAY that's Miku. That's not even a Japanese Vocaloid.

    However, I have no idea which voice this is... I don't know the other Vocaloids very well outside of the well-known ones. xD;;

  • It's Miriam. :)

  • Nicely done.

  • That's not bad. I'm interested to know more about a "software voice"!!!

    - MMM

  • So google it.

  • sounds like a mac voice lol

  • MELODYNE! GET MELODYNE!!!!!

  • SOOOOO off-key... -_-;

  • its not off-key, lol

  • @Luigifan18 Who cares? It's still Still Alive.

    Also, use 1 "o", and don't capitalise the "o".

  • man that like the singer is on drug man

  • Do you have the original VSQ file still?

  • The version of Vocaloid I use saves to MIDI files with extended information stored in them. I might have the MIDI around somewhere.

  • which vocaloid did you use?

  • I cant her it.

  • now that's neat my friend. Peace, Tom

  • sounds like a dalek! lol gd tho

  • well pretty good

  • the ending lyric went off track a bit, but very good otherwise

  • Thanks, Krissy. These experimentations are fun to do, even if they are a bit imperfect. :)

  • just curious to know

how long it take u to do this?

    (it was really god btw:))

  • Oh....I think around 4-6 hours. The hardest part was separating out the notes from the original track and converting them to midi. I used TS-AudioToMIDI to do that and then Cubasis as the Midi editor.

  • Pretty Damned clever!

  • just stop trying... please, please! why do that to such a beuitiful song.

  • lol... technology is fickle. I might need a fancier program.

  • heh awesome

  • good job man!

  • Lol~ it sounds like GLaDOS having a spaz attack at times! Nice idea though.

  • lol that sucked

  • Such are the limits of technology. Thanks for viewing :)

  • ahahah you wrote you did a portal cover and have to check it :)

the voice it funny :) made me laugh

  • Yeah, this is pretty much the way a computer sings without hollywood help :)

  • cool idea John! I think fortunately it will be awhile before speech technology is adept enough to completely replace singers... I am impressed by the new 'voice' from Leopard on OS X (called 'Alex') -- that's the most natural voice I've ever heard... but it still is quite far from any real human.

Technology advances rapidly though -- so who knows?

There may not be a NEED for singers in 20 years -- but there will still be a desire from humans to listen to real human performances -- always.
