  • Not at all. It's because they closed all lights during the event. You don't wanna have a child drown without anyone's attention.

  • is swimming off limits? cause i don't see many people in the water.

  • @GameSharkWizard The pool is not open for swimming at that time.

  • Thanks for the upload... always wondered what this would be like. I remember they were advertising New Year's Eve 2000 at the World Waterpark, but I didn't know they have this everey year. Looks like the wave pool is closed during the fireworks. Do they re-open it after? How about the waterslides? Would be awesome if they kept the place open until 4am. Hopefully they have a good exhaust system to evacuate all the smoke from the waterpark!

  • @LakeNipissing The Waterpark does a New Years Party every year. On New Year's Eve the Waterpark is open to the public until 4 or 5 and re-opens at 7:00 to those going to the New Year's Eve Party. Everything is open from 7:00 until 11:30. We start closing down the slides at that time and handing out party favours (noismakers, hats and new year's stuff) Everyone gathers on the beach with the staff standing in the water and the fireworks start at 12. Everyone goes home after that.

  • @coldtemperature Thanks for helping :)

  • Nice video! I went to west ed waterpark for new years a few years ago, looks like it's gotten better, it was still fun when I went though, just the fireworks they used set off the fire alarms lol
