Very well said and clearly put Lord Pearson. The Lib/Lab/CON supporters need to be confronted with these facts. When confronted with these facts they should acknowledge the error of their ways and renounce their political parties. If they do NOT renounce these parties we will be able to tell they are dishonest people. They are betraying our war dead. @beltanebabe55 What? Debate in the Lords is not limited purely to what is presented by a single aprty, that's silly. That's Geert's presentation. Have you never had a debate? Muslim isn't a race, and "we" aren't anything, that's the first racist comment made or referenced. Fitna was also about a book and how groups advocating opinions apply it, which is what debate is about, and as ideas can be inferior, screaming racist is childish and very anti-free speech.

I just am very concerned that what I am seeing here is the same tactic that Adolph Hitler used, he created an enemy of the Jews in order to gain the support he needed to carry out his personal agenda. coltrane1966, yes I have and I find it no more disgusting than parts of the Bible. These are ancient writings from long ago. just as most Christians don't follow the Bible word for word most Muslims don't follow the Koran word for word. A lot is misunderstood about the Muslim religion and debate based on the film fitna will not educate or enlighten. It is designed to create fear not understanding. The God in the Bible and the God in the Koran are one and the same.

coltrane1966, I don't know most Muslims but then i don't know most Christians either. I don't have to know everyone personally to understand what makes them tick. If I was to judge lets say Catholics in the same way people judge Muslims I would be calling ALL Catholics child abusers based on what a sick minority have done. I don't and I don't judge all Muslims in that way either. All I know is that the ones I have met have been people just wanting to live their lives like anyone else.

Lord Pearson stated that he did not agreed with everything in the film, but that he just wanted to stimulate a healthy debate about the dangers of radical is Islam. (which is a real danger). So I see no reason to chance your vote because of that.

Tolarjev, If Lord Pearson becomes the leader of UKIP I do see it as a reason to change my vote. For one thing I don't see him as someone who is in touch with life as it is for the average person in the UK, with all it's hardships and struggles. Also I am aware that radical Muslims are a danger but I believe radical Christians can be also. The truth is that most of the Muslims that live in the UK are not radical and don't like radical Muslim ideals any more than we do.
