Giuliani tries to delude himself by saying that the elections weren't about the moral issues.  He was probably busy cross-dressing, so he missed the news: Iowa Supreme Court judges got dismissed because they tried to legalize same sex "marriage".

Just because it was bad for Democrats doesn't mean it was bad for us. Sure, there were a few losses, but you always lose a few before you win a few. @ObserversEyes , your right. The Republicans elected to congress are even more extreme (incl anti-gay) than the ones who were already there. The teabaggers are largely a socially extremist movement masquerading as a tax movement. They don't even agree on taxation. But they overwhelmingly oppose equality for gay people, to the point of even stopping them from forming marriages. You can't hate someone much more than that... Moderate Republicans are called liberal Democrats.
