there's plenty to appreciate in this film, and the beautiful actors (as you point out) are just one thing, that's part of the film actually. if you cannot see what either scarlette or bill are feeling in this film- that's weird. it's a beautiful real relationship that opens up both of their minds to new possibilities and adventure. have you ever appreciated anything with subtlety in relationships, or real stylish cinematography. i'm interested to know what your fav film is... well actually my fav film is "The night of the living dead"and i prefer it to this movie mainly cuz of 2 reasons 1)all of the protagonists are very clear about their feelings both the zombies(that try to have a more "carnal" relationship with the humans)AND the humans(just try not to become a midnight zombie snack)XDDXDXD 2) even the zombies(arrgh,braaaiiins...) have ,more articulate dialogues in their movie than in this movie where there is less dialogue than in a Aggelopoulos film in it..:P

Ok. i regret using the twister word. but you cannot discribe these two films and expect to like them both for the same reasons. it's just not your thing matey, but don't bag it out. they are very different tastes, one being one you don't understand. i guess i'm more open minded to new things. my fav horror film is actually Dawn of the Dead (in my top 10 overall) that's largely inspired by the night of the living dead. you may learn to appreciate more things in the future.
