I let him go. I have had many pet spiders, and I always let them go after a while. They are really fun. And get this, I started reading about and watching spiders to combat my own rather substantial arachnaphobia.

@xxxxdarksidexxxx A spider doesn"t need much space at all, if you pay attention to spiders around your house, you'll see that they'll stay at the same spot all their life. Event that "small space" is pretty large for that kind of spider. It's not like a cat or a dog. And Cowgal58 said "happiest SPIDER in the world"

I keep a spider or two in my room, because they eat the cockroaches and other insects I don't want, they really are harmless if you leave them alone.
