This game was incredible. I remember renting this when I was little when it first came out, and I could NOT stop playing it until it was finished. And it was a hard game. But this stands out as one of those games that I'll never forget.
this game i Legend. It´s the first movie like game. ANd the graphics were awesome. I mean the first time a caught the rope and jump on the other side with that black saber behind me. IT WAS AMAZING!!!!
This game was just pure technical genius. I loved the cinematics in this game as well. It literally brought you in it, making you a part of it. The thing that truly etched into my brain was that huge beast you had to run away from; it had my adrenaline going just seeing it happen.
omg i loled at the end hes just like hi in an emotionless expression and theres some really creepy guy with a mask and a gun right infront of him if i was him i would shit my pants
you know. i really like this game. it is so breathtaking ^^. you know i am really proud of the excistence of SMB 2. do you think it is a cult game too?
loool dis game, fuk me lol. i didnt undastand it at all! i memba 1 word out of dis nd dat is dat fing dats locked in da cage swingin. nd da fing sayin masoomba!!!

Thanks for uploading this! I bought the cartridge for this last week and the intro does not play.
This is not a masterpiece. It's a potentially great game that is ruined by the die-repeatedly sudden death gameplay. Compounding this, the game does not operate consistently: from the first challenge onward, you sometimes fail even when performing the exact actions needed (you are sometimes out-run by the jaguar creature no matter what).
youre crazy the creature in the first board does not get you no matter what. this game is an ABSOLUTE masterpiece. the only game that comes near this games atmosphere is shadow of the collosus
I sooo agree with you Mike! I thought the same exact thing when I first played Shadow of the Colossus! I have fond memories of my first experience with this game on the SNES. The look and feel was AMAZING back then. SOTC reminded me a lot of this. This game was superb I can't understand anyone who would think different. Hell, I think Ima dig it out and try to beat it again lol! haven't played it in many years
when i rented this game back in the early 90's when it first came out, i knew there was somthing classic about the game. no other game gave you such an in depth creepy feeling. you really feel like your on another world, and it is a game that would challenge a pro gamer. i got the snes9x and zsnes system emulators, JUST for this game. i thought i would never find a copy of it, because games wernt as mainstream as they are nowadays. but i found a rom replica of the game for snes, i luv this game
The entire game fit on one floppy. That's only 1.4 megs! The developers in those days really squeezed every 'bit' they could and put it to use. It was emotional, intelligent, fluid...

Geez, when I saw the scrolling "Star Wars" text, I thought it's a parody.
Why did they re-work every game for the NES/SNES, not just porting them? Many games became awful in Nintendo style!

Man it was such a joy to be a kid when this was out.
I feel sorry for kids who grew up on playstation and xbox, they missed the best years of gaming.

Too bad the SNES was too slow, it really shows in this game... The Genesis port was superior (Although had pretty crappy music).

Wonderful video; though it makes me a little sad to watch it all transpire again after so many years.
Thanks.

But also VEEEEEEEEERY difficult.
