@perfym One theory of time travel believes by altering anything from the past, a parallel future is created and although just the act of breathing (See "Butterfly effect") would change the actual structure if the past, they toned it down for the movie.

I crushed on Lea Thompson since, the Back To The Future films. I also, remember watching Lea perform in "SpaceCamp" with Kate Capshaw and in "Howard The Duck" with Tim Robbins and Jeffrey Jones. Holly Robinson before, the married name Peete was one of Lea Thompson's band player females. Lea still does look good after 25 years playing, Lorraine Baines-McFly and her other cute, sexy roles. I was so in love with her roles as Lorraine and Beverly Lea is still cute to me.
