I think there is something to be said for traditional hymns, well, some of them anyway.

A big problem with Christian Metal in churches would be the fact that some people wouldn't be able to follow it or sing along either...

@littleork the reason being is that your folks and others the same age are used to listening to lorence welk show type of music...they dont understand...they expect everyone to have the same taste...but on the other hand you ought to honor your parents...heck pray for them if its a issue

@Rhuanjl I don't think it's appropriate to have Metal Music in Church. For me Metal is not worship music. It's music of a sound that I like but without the anti-christ message and without the vulgarity. When it comes to Church, there are certain things that are just flat out sacred. Worshipping God in humility, reverence, and in a quiet peaceful way, I personally believe, is more reverent than through Metal.
