@cotequadsport because some people prefer not to jump on the band wagon with other "bigger engine = better"muscle heads and because you gotta love the face when you see a V6 nicely moddified beat most of those guy's stock v8's. Its all in preference especially with the gas economy nowadays.

@iTapThat4Sure... the v8 for that year mustang only made 215 horse to the flywheel. the v6? meaning this v6 in the video? 150. not even to the ground. with a tune and a full exhaust and intake setup you could MAYBE match the power of the stock v8 in the GT. Bottom line, there aint no replacement for displacement

I prefer v6's because i do more than just a little driving and would rather not spend the gas money. Let's all be honest, who actually races their mustangs? A fraction of the total people that own mustangs. Bottom line, I don't give a fuck about displacement, I jsut don't want to be like everyone else, i prefer unique, my car is my hobby, dont trash on the lil brother!

That parking lot is a high school in Carrollton IIRC, I made some equipment deliveries there when they were building it several years back. A lot of people say V6's are crap, but when they're built right, and not overdone, they look and sound good. Yours is one of those and I'm sure you've got more in mind to do to it. lol sounds good, uhhh i got this as a Christmas gift, lol. But we got it for $5k, from a guy in Euless TX. Not to far from where i live. and yes that's w/ everything on it already. But i spent about $190 and bought new halo headlights. they look awesome :D i should have a new vid up soon hopefully

only that i know of is the headers and true dual exhaust, and two catalytic converter's. and yea the car is lowered, about and inch and a half almost from stock, but idk, thats how the car came when we bought it.

Nah, no embles or anything lol. Just a reglar V6 as well [but i do plan on trying to get a cobra w/ x-pipes, and a kenne bell charger] But an intake will not make that big if a diff at all in your sound. All the intake does is bring more air into your motor, and give you more horsepower, thats about it.

Two catalytic converters, headers, and duals, thats about it, but the reason it sounds good is cuz the mustang has two catalytic converters, and not just one. Its alot quieter if you only have one.

DUDE not to be a prick, but you really have ALL YOUR MUSTANG INFO ALL WRONG. I build these things all day everyday. I can help you get it to SOUND V8'ish. An intake also helps with sound. MY friend you DO NOT have the best setup, I can tell by the sound. Again not being a prick just wanting to help you V6 guys out and tell you EXACTLY what to buy. TRUST ME I KNOW V6 STANGS, and ALL STANGS. Hit me back dude I hate to see you running around with the wrong parts and info on your stang.

DUDE please trust me, The BEST setup would be MAC headers, cat delete test pipe, X-PIPE !!!! and full 2.5-3 inch stainlees pipes with MAC mufflers and 2.5-3 inch CHROME axle wrap aroud exhaust tips. And one cat is LOUDER than TWO cats. BUT!!!!! but your car comes with 4 cats stock anyways so what did you do for 2 cats??? not being a dick but I had my first stang that I built when you were in kindergarden. I KNOW STANGS DUDE. Plus I am certain you want a V8ish sound right? do this and you will.
