i've had many different setups and the type r's are by far the best sounding ones i've had. i re-tuned my amp today and got my dash bouncing off only 2000 watts lol

@ph1ldav1sFROSTED Alpine offers a dual 4 ohm Type R and a dual 2 ohm Type R... this guy must have dual 2 ohm subs.. otherwise you're forced into 4 or 1 ohm if he had the dual 4 ohms.

I'm about to rip out the back seats too, but my box will go all the way across, with spots for some batteries on the sides where the rear doors open. Thats the Quad cab with 4 doors too right? I lose a lot of pressure cause the rear doors flex a lot. Shit all 4 doors do. Check out the vid on my page if you wanna see some nasty door flex. 5*s for another clean dodge/alpine setup!

a little yes, I work at a car audio shop and we have ran 1000watts plus to type ares a few times for SPL comps but for daily i dont recomend it. It is very possible but through a good song like the one in the video the R's get stinky at the end with only 500ish watts to each. If you are running SPL i would actually recomend running about 1000watts to each if you are just burping them in short periods. If you want more info just PM me
