If you look back to the end of World war one, Woodrow Wilson made a very Obama like bipartisan act by not bringing the Republicans with him to the signing of the treaty, which ended in them not allowing the US to be part of the league of nations, which of course was one of the factors that lead to WW2.

WRONG, Bill Clinton lowered the standards for Frannie and Freddie Mae in 1998 so that people could move into houses they really could NOT afford. Government regulation started this whole mess. Before you know it, 10 years of things bought completely on CREDIT blew up(speaking about the Housing market). Healthcare is a mess. Something like 60% of the money goes to paper work and administration. It's a complete rip off and people are treated unfairly. Many are forced to opt to go without health insurance. Some end up having to declare bankrupt. Some people with preconditions pay higher rates or are effectively refused (in the form of penalties).

People fall through the cracks in this highly manipulated system.

Of course monopolies and trusts need to be broken up, they block new companies from even having a chance of getting in the game.
