Converting Videos For Xbox 360 With VLC Alternatives

I tried to convert but it keeps saying 'fail to decode' as soon as i press start. any suggestions

hey READ THIS COMMENT!!! -- When you download video from xbox live marketplace, it is saved to the harddrive, right? You can also transfer that video file onto a usb (formatted to xbox). Using USBxtafXPLORER you can copy that video file onto your pc. It doesnt have a file type or anything and it cant be converted. So does anybody know a way, you can convert a normal movie into that format that the video taken the xbox was in. This way, if possible, you can effectively save movies to your HDD...
