If you think about it, someone can criticize turntables for not being a real instrument because all they do is play recorded music. We can argue for days over this, but the point is turntables turn out to be a great way to share music, not only that, but also deliver it in a creative way. Don't hate, embrace the future of music.

Even if DJ AM "pre-fabbed" his sets, doesn't that mean he had to experiment with a bunch of tracks in the first place? What you're missing is his creativity. He basically had a bunch of tracks, figured out which work with which, and threw in some cuts and sick blends.

Don't be afraid of Serato either. It's a great tool that we can use to our advantage. It gives us the freedom to more creative things with music.
