  • Great video & bio-movie on The Beatles,I have the film taped on VHS & on here to. I love the actor playing Sir Paul, wow what a fox he is. I always had a huge crush on Sir Paul ever since I was a girl of 15 in 1964..I love the goofiness of John in the movie & in real life John was a clown. Remember his famous quote from A Hard Day's Night? And I quote"O! Please Sir can I

surge"? Pretty funny huh? Long live The Beatles forever. Sorry Bay City Rollers your out!

    Beatle's Fam For-Ever:

    Critty200

  • This was the first movie about The Beatles that i saw, and I still thinking that is a wonderful movie!! God save The Beatles!

  • Nick Cotton as George Harrison & Nigel Havers as George Martin

  • Can you buy this sound track to this movie???????

  • @Shad1965 If I where you I'dsimply buy The Beatles albums. ;-)

That should solve it. MOst of the 'rare' songs are on the Anthology albums. (well that's what they where sold under in DK anyway)

  • John Lennon was still alive when this movie came out!

  • @jambo843 fuck all you justin beiber lovin fucks rot in hell and choke on a cock

  • they made a mistake on this paul and george should be singing together but they guy doing paul is singing on his own

  • The bellboy at 8:22 looked creepily like Mark Davis Chapman...

  • Ringo was required to shave his beard and dye his hair to join the Beatles. He was getting grey, even at age 22!

  • Backbeat got nothing on this

  • the beatles is weak

  • @jambo843 You're so weak you couldn't get it up with a mountain of viagra and a crane.

  • Really people, if you don't like it, don't see it. Stop those hate comments, it's annoying and childish. After all, the producers won't see your comments and say sorry u_u

  • its verry obvious that ringo cant play the drum

  • @jambo843 u r a fuckwit of course he could, who do you think he was? who do u think u r?

  • i hope someday they get a movie a good version

  • man , the guy playing Paul looks like a goose, literally

  • doesnt the chicken man playing Paul give one the shits, he looks like a fucking rooster

  • They missed a trick with not doing Geroge Martins quote "Gentlemen, you have just recorded your first number one!"

  • And this is why they are still famous up to this day

  • Price less!!

  • this is a good bigography on the beatles i remember seeing it years ago

i do think though that the sence of humour the actors are portraying as john paul george and ringo is slightly over the top and exaggerated yes we all know the guys had a great sence of humour but i have a feeling half of what we see in the movie is put on to make it look like how it came accross as the beatles

  • I remember back in the day, in 1964, on a British TV Variety show, the Beatles appeared and did some funny skits as well as a few of their songs of the day...the host got John's Paul's, and George's name right, but when he called Ringo's name, he accidntly called him "Bongo"!! I thought that was the funniest shiite I ever heard!! On the tele no doubt!! The stuff of Beatle legend!!

  • The guy playing Ringo kinda looked more like Dennis Wilson of the Beach Boys!!

  • I havent seen this film in years..Thanks for that

  • poor pete best...

  • @NYYTeixecute09 Yeah, but kudos to the guy for making a life for himself and not spending the last 40-odd years telling the world that his former friends were the biggest assholes you could wish to meet... I met Best once, was a alright bloke by all accounts it seems.

  • @NYYTeixecute09 Pete Best could only play Early Beatles songs & nothing more. He's too conventional with no humor. He just stay in the background, being still. Stu just wears dark shades & turns his back from the audience to show no attention. He was shy.

  • How could anyone chant "off, off, off!" to Ringo? He is amazing!!

  • Cynthia was naive, and I can't believe John was so irresponsible. He had plenty of sex before..I love him, though.

  • @TheDorr71 Cynthia turns me on. I like English girls.

  • @starlost1957 Me too, I'd shag her fer sure.....

  • @starlost1957 The funny thing is that I'd shag her right now, at the age she is now....the bird still looks good :)

  • i love the john and cyn scene too.

  • at least he didnt get blisters on his fingers

  • 4:06 if Julian ever saw this film I wouldn't be surprise to know that he stared at the scree, blinked several times and then cursed the film-maker

  • The John and Paul actors in this film are FUCKIN great!

  • @Bigbadben7 yaeh but they are 29 and 34 year olds playing 21, 22 year olds

  • 6:14 I like how George Martin turns around before John calls him :)

  • Well in real life they all were supposed to laugh after Harrison's tie joke about Martin, here it looks as it was an embarassing moment...

Besides, not sure they were eating fish and chips (or whatever) when they first met.

  • at this time george DOES NOT play a gretsch country gentleman.that is in 1964.

  • paul is so high in this movie

  • awh, little unborn baby Julian(: ahaha yeah, Jules sure grew up in a proper home, alright. -_-

  • there the worst beatles actors in history

  • @MsBobohj THEY WERE KIND OF CHEESY, WERENT THEY?

  • I can just imagine John swallowing his tongue when cyn dropped that bomb on him. He must have thought The Beatles were over.

  • love this film, not seen it in years, Lewis from Corrie playing George Martin, great

  • lol! The Beatles sure liked fish and chips!

  • Cynthia Lennon still says that John Lennon was the biggest bastard she ever knew - and still the love of her life.

  • This movie was far better than Back Beat. Don't expect any Beatles movie to be dead on. Everyone who writes books about them has their own spin on that they know. This movie was done fairly well. The actors even looked the part of who they were playing.

  • They do "Please Please Me" too fast. The song is a mite slower than that.

  • GO RINGO!!! Lol

  • best john lennon actor i have ever seen! Movie is very gd! At least i like!

  • agreed. I hope the movie "Nowhere boy", the actor playing him will do a good job. The actor is also the lead actor for the movie "Kick Ass"

  • @nammm3 John Lennon`s sister has a lawsuit on Nowhere Boy.

  • @xlexbabiix She wrote a book with a guy called John Lennon, My Brother in the 80`s then she wrote a 2nd book, Imagine Growing Up With My Brother John Lennon which is where Nowhere Boy is based on. The guy from the 1st book said she used his research into Lennon`s life now he wants his share.

  • I don't get why this film is hated by some. Yeah the inaccuracies are annoying but it's still very good. I think it's much better than backbeat.

That moment at 7:01 is PURE JOHN! "a chip?"

  • @jwild611 Apple Corpse sued ABC after it aired in `79

  • Oh god the guy who played Ringo was so perfect at his goofy drumming <3 Love it.

  • Ringo NEVER did drum solos. He hated doing them and John, Paul and George hated drummers that did them.

  • @beatlejuice72 only solo ringo did with the Beatles was on the abbey road album, The End

  • @beatlejuice72 What about on "The End", on Abby Road, 1969??

  • ya pues traduscanlo

  • the got rid of Pete real quick LMFAO

  • Fricken hilarious singing xD

  • I don't think they were that arrogant when they first met Martin. And Please Please Me started out as a slow Roy O ish type ballad

  • very true. George Martin told them to speed it up cos it was dragging too much as it was

  • The tie quote at least is true, I've read it many times. :)

  • Yeah I noticed all of that.

  • I like the melody on 4.50

  • Although Ringo was not lover of a drumms solo...but it's lookin' good there

  • julian lennon said he didnt se his father much but when he was like 8 or 9 he was at his dads house every weekend

  • yeah, he said that because he DIDN'T see his dad a lot. John didn't even ask to see Julian for quite a while after Cyn and his divorce, and it's not like he spent much time with Julian even during the marriage. John did send for Julian quite frequently for a while, but when John moved to the US he didn't even tell Cyn and Julian at first. Julian didn't see John for three years afterwards. and then after that it was about another 3 or 4 years. and John died about a couple years after that.

  • I think the "drum roll" scene would have been improved by having steam come out of Ringo's ears.

  • loool, good one

  • i wonder what would have happen if it went John Paul George Pete

  • 'A Day In The Life' would have had shitty drumming on it.

  • lol

  • ROTFL!

  • @HendrixDoors well, instead of 3 good luckin Beatles, and an oddball, there woulda been 4 facemen....

  • As someone once said in the biography of this is Elvis quote "I dont care if your black, white, brown or a redneck the King of rock and roll will always be Elvis Presley."

  • i love the song at 1:10

  • Ok, so the mannerisms on these guys is dead on! I love it- Lennon's facial expressions..... awesome.

  • @Amazingplatinum Quite rightly, but the vocals aer on helium! Lol
