@unicycle44 Thanks! I agree it's underrated but it delivers and the design is timeless. You'll get questions all day in one of these. For a first car, try to get a stock turbo one. Insurance may be pricey at 18. Start stock and go with easy bolt ons as you build up. But most of all, get it checked out by a Nissan mechanic before you buy.

Aslong as your driving record is clean your insurance company wont spike your rate because you have a fast car :) and special you have one clean Z my friend!

@mctwistman119 Thanks man! Right now it's the adjustable OEM TT shocks and springs. I have Stillen sways and Energy bushings for the twisties. I plan to do a modest drop but haven't been able to decide on the coilovers or if I just want to do springs.

Mine has been solid but I keep up with maintainance and add supporting mods along with the performance mods (larger oil cooler, alum radiator, brakes). Cooling is the biggest problem, if you plan to use an underdrive pulley then definitely get the overdrive water pump pulley.

Thanks!  That's the way the HKS HiPower exhaust comes. It will produce the most horsepower because it has the least number of bends. All the Z32s with pipes going straight back have 2 extra bends.

Cool man. You should check out STS turbo systems. Not a turbo swap. They can turbo an NA with out swapping the engine. Turbos are placed where the mufflers are and pipes back to the intake to close the system. No engin mods needed and runs real cool.

You don't need a turbo back if you want to stay stock but that means you're not going to drive the car and want the collector value to appreciate. The turbo back is a simple performance upgrade where you don't need any engine control or internal mods done. But as with any turbo car, a higher flowing exhaust reduces lag since the system is exhaust driven.

Yep. Start with a pop charger (intake) and catback. I have high flow cats so it shaves a little power but it's not ridiculously loud and street legal. Add high flow cats if you want more juice but the stock cats can hold for a while.

It's not an engine swap that's usually done but the turbos are mounted where the mufflers are. Look up ststurbo for prices. They have a bolt on kit for the 350z but they also have universal kits that would require professional installation.
