  • better accelaration than teh normal formation! whats a barrier coach anyway?

  • Power cars and hst mk3's have a semi-permanent kind of buckeye coupler that, should the power car fail, a normal loco isn't compatible with. So, these coaches or power cars have to have a 'barrier coach' attached, which has the hst coupled at one end and a standard coupling at the other.

  • On its way to Craigentenny, or whatever the place is to be named I think. Great, would have been lovely to spot in the old Valenta days :/
