  • What the flip is that? EEEEEEEEEEH? You should have a big dose of growing up.

  • @Anticorr Always a douchebag in the crowd. Until you create your own content and post a video, you really should STFU.

  • faggot

  • @TheSLSAMG Hey are you hitting on me? Sorry. Not interested -- you douchebag.

  • r u taking to macbook air's HOME

  • the new 2010 model is only 99 to start with

  • God you're a faggot adiblasi

  • @Busynotgivingafuck You're calling God a faggot? How the hell do you know the gender of God? Or, are you just hitting on me?

    Idiot.

  • All that thinness but no DVD combo drive. What a waste.

  • @fatimmortal and slower processor... prices then were the same as the 15" MBP... over glorified netbook.

  • @tigresslover Netbook? What the hell you smoking, son? It's a freaking paperweight.

  • @fatimmortal Apple definitely dropped the ball with it. There is a lot of potential with it, but they want to make what they want; not what their customers want. The fact that you HAD to buy the usb (why not firewire?) superdrive separately was lame. I have a love hate relationship with Macs.

  • @tigresslover I totally hate Macs and the people who go around showing theirs off or tell me that I suck, for using Windows.

Of course, I have no problems with people who don't try to get me to convert to a Mac user.

  • @fatimmortal I use both and both have their shortcomings. Its definitely a good thing to know how to use both systems... and buying a intel mac that dualboots both systems is a definite plus... but I dont have a spare $2000 lying around.

If you cannot afford a shiny new mac, like me, then you really are not missing too much. Windows 7 is an excellent OS and spending half the amount on a PC will leave you with an ultimate system.

  • @tigresslover Spoken like a true man.

Well, tbh, I've used Mac OSX before and I didn't like it. So I bought a few laptops in the past years with Windows and felt as if I just went into Paradise.

Currently using Win7 with my Asus laptop that I bought for 1k with 3 years unlimited warranty and it feels so much better than OSX.

Of course, it's just a personal preference for me. I just love messing with hundreds of settings on 7.

  • @fatimmortal My first time using Seven was just like my first experience with XP... completely awesome. "An operating system that works? Is someone pulling my leg? Can't be real." But it oh so is.

I hand built my desktop. Gigabyte mobo, AMD Phenom X4, Nvidia DDR3 graphics card, 4 Gigs of Ram, Coolermaster Mid Tower Case, 22" AOC LCD screen.

$180 for the processor and mobo, $40 for the ram, $125 for the screen, and $50 for the GPU. Everything rates about a 6.0 and up on the windows benchmark.

  • @fatimmortal I love using my G4 Powerbook. OSX is definitely something to get used to... it does some things easier than windows and some things harder... the biggest complaint is the lack of supported peripherals... either it works or it does not. Windows will get something to work even if it is half ass.

If you have ever messed with Linux or Unix based OSs, OSX works the way you would want them to work.

Do you have the Asus jet fighter laptop? Cuz the new Asus laptop is badass.

  • @tigresslover My first XP wasn't so great, it was a budget 300 dollar build with a Celeron, 256mb ram, IGP, 40GB HDD.

My first Vista...Don't get me started on the crap I had to endure.

My first 7, this laptop....I sweat day and night for a week over how awesome and fast it is.

My first OSX....uh....was an iBook that some dude just randomly gave me. It was awesome, until I realised that I couldn't do much on it other than Photoshop and surf the net. =.=

  • @fatimmortal Though I didnt have vista too long before I upgraded to 7, I really didnt have too many problems with it. I found it to be very resource hungry.

I had one gig of ram in my desktop when I first built it, Vista almost always ate up the gig just doing normal tasks. I added two more gigs later and saw a marginal increase.

7 just works better and will work with what you have.

  • WTF?

    It's really thin

The second Macbook that you showed is cooler than That MacBook Air

  • go to IPADVSDROID . c o m it 's insane, I cant believe it

  • the fake piano on these videos, combined with the fake personality and face of this guy, make for shit videos

  • ha ha ha ha what evar! hahahahahaha

  • Although the MBA is nice, i prefer my HP Touchsmart for portable needs, or my iPod Touch for pocket-sized needs.

  • I went into the apple store with three of my friends and we booted all the ipods into recovery mode and he put some idiotic youtube video on the apple television xD

  • @Bizzozeron lol that is funny. What i did was i inverted all the screens on the macs, and when the ppl went on it they were confused as to y all the colour were messed up. But he most funny part was when one of the employess was trying to fix it for quite a while and couldnt. btw this was done with my brother i was not alone.

  • Were you at the Penn Square Apple Store?

  • Read the description.

  • haha ok

  • u should have recorded it 08.08.08

  • "its thin"

  • macbook chair :D

  • That thing is like a wafer. I'd be afraid of crunching it. D:

  • Its made out of this really cool aluminum

  • OMG MY COKE BOTTLES CAN HAS ALUMINUM!

  • bottles are glass not metal LOL

  • true story i stand corrected

my coke cans can has aluminum

  • Haha!! Thats pretty funny that your hair stylist KNOWS.

  • If it ever gets to around $300 i'll buy one. lol. Waste of freakin' money.

  • lol ill take two of 'em.

  • my best friends mum got one for her birthday I've never seen a better laptop. Sero

  • omg ive seen a macbook air at bestbuys and boy its thin!

i was afraid i would break it so i just stepped away

  • lol

  • that Apple Store looks familiar. What Apple Store is that?

  • Boca Raton, Florida

  • apple deal or no deal. Ill take the deal. jobs would hire someone to be the host and jobs would be up in the dark room uping or downing the bids.

  • I was always afraid to hold a macbook air, I was afraid I would rip it in half x_x

  • Guess what guys, what do we learn from this vid. Mackbook air is thin!

  • y is it called macbook hair? its air

  • he's getting a haircut then looking at the macbook air. LOL

  • thin as hair maybe?

    just a pun... lol

  • I wish dell made something that small and light.

  • omg gosh dude it is the macbook air not macbook hair!!!!

  • No, it's the MacBook Hair. o_O

  • its the macbook hair definately. No doubt about it and trust me David of all ppl (other than alfred) should know

  • LOL

  • omfg he is getting a haircut dont you get it

  • when i first saw one i said the same thing

  • "you know Mariah, i was only joking about the batman logo" "....you were?" "...ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh" lolz, nice vid alfred!

  • I could eat my dinner off it, very cool Al!:)

  • is "AN adiblasi film" not "a adiblasi film"

  • I think it is that way because his first Name is Alfred (shortened to A) and his username is adiblasi

  • Ohh, Alfred Diblasi (ADiblasi)

  • Ohh, I get it now

  •  is so kool

  • Lol.

    Its Mac book air ffs.

  • Apple logo in your head Al!? Noooo. Haha

  • Meta (yes i know ur name is Al but i jst prefer 2 say that, u wana fight about it?), I just wanted 2 say, er ya nothing lol, back to homework!!

  • dude your an awesome dude lolol macbook air is cool but macbook is better

  • i love the macbook..but i dont know which version to get:S which is the best deal? and should i get one thats refurbished?

  • It depends. Will it be your main computer or will it just be a travel computer? How much damage will it face?

If it's going to be your main computer, get the Macbook Pro.

If you need something light, tough, and easy to carry, get the Macbook air with the SSD.

If you just need a simple notebook for travel and it won't get thrown around too much, get a Macbook.

  • I wish PC was drunk from slow computers and Mac is healthy for fast...and slim Macbooks and iMacs.

  • HOLY SHIT THAT IS THIN! do you have one? if you have one can you write me and tell me how good it is?!

  • apple gets ahead by taking risks

  • Good point!

  • ;)) thx

  • i like that thing... if it would come down in price by 200-300 dollars and include the optical drive and the Ethernet usb adapter, then i may look into one... otherwise it is way over priced by far..

  • Yes, stay with a MacBook.

  • Good choice. But that Air looks so awesome!

  • this thing sucks i bought a laptop for 1000 and its 1.7 GHz and this 3248 one is 1.8 Ghz

i have 2 say its just 4 the looks

  • Clock speed doesn't matter.

  • Finally, someone who has seen the MHz myth...

  • clock speed i think thats the processors speed wth is clock speed???

  • Clock speed is a correct term -- it is a bit of an older term, but it is indeed correct. The 'system clock' was the main clock on the motherboard, and all the timing came off of that, or were multiples of that.

  • Correct. You are paying for the looks (translates into paying for the ultra thin form factor) -- exactly. I totally agree. To pay for the 'feature set', you get yourself into an 'FF' class MacBook Pro. And for price/performance, the MacBook. They have all bases covered. The ultimate combo? An FF-class MacBook Pro, and then the Air for travel. Nice (and expensive too!).

  • MacBook Air totaly shit. No DVD Player... and it run only 2 hours with batteries!

  • your the fucking shit one as steve jobs said no one is going to miss the optical drive and the reason it hasent got one built in is because its so think and you can buy the external one if u want so do your research

  • 5 hours. Its not built for media. Like he said , "second laptop -- a travel laptop for a business person"

  • It is a niche market system, but a sign of things to come.

  • you r crazy buying 2 macbook airs ,stupid!

and y did you call it macbook hair , RANDOM!

  • Maker - the phrase "Yes, I'll take two of 'em' was a joke. I typically say that when I see something that is very expensive, but highly desirable. With regard to why I called the video "MacBook Hair" -- well, I got a HAIR cut, and then I went to the Apple store to see the MacBook AIR -- I thought that was kinda obvious, but there is your answer!

  • oh sorry my bad hey thats kinda a cool joke LOL

but i still dont think you should of called it macbook hair

  • how much is it and is it good???

  • ones 1799 and ones a bit over 3000

  • over 3000 dollars, that's basically the most expensive thing apple is selling now.

  • and its such a waste of money too. I mean, i got an HP Pavilion Notebook, it works perfectly, its got a 103 gig Hard Drive, and the ram is 2 gigs. It's about an inch thick when closed, and it was about 700 dollars. And if something goes wrong, u can talk to an hp assistant and they will fix it up for free!

  • WOW preatty expensive:((

  • Alex, yes, it's expensive. A MacBook gives you a better 'bang for the buck.' The Air is a 'second laptop', oriented towards an executive traveller who needs it to be VERY LIGHT!

  • BOCAAAAAAA

one of the nicest place ever

    cant w8 to go

  • Yes, it's a great town -- I hope you enjoy your trip!

  • I went there, i saw it, i walked away.

  • Yes, the MacBook Air is not for everyone. Good as a second laptop for an executive traveller.

  • Only Steve Jobs can sell air. haha

  • is it a good machine??? give me a text

  • its got the same specs as the regular macbook, intel core2 duo intel GMA graphics. The air however doesnt have an optical drive

  • does anyone know if the air has speakers?

  • Yes, Mono speakers

  • Congrats on the partnership, Al! I guessed you were applying when I saw your channel was having a makeover! Good luck to you, no one deserves it more than you, having entertained us royaly for over a year!:)

  • AJ, to be honest, YouTube sent me an invite via a link on my upload page. I clicked on stuff, and then basically forgot about it. The makeover had nothing to do with that, I really was doing an eval on the content and making some improvements. Thanks for all of your support! I appreciate it!

  • I know you're going to get one of these things...seriously. You have a MacBook Pro 17 inch 2.4GHz. Now with something like that, everyone needs a bit more aluminum notebook in their life.

  • Jacob, while I did not buy it (I was joking about the 'take 2 of 'em'), Adam B did say "Oh, Al, once you get your hands on one, you will want one." As a second laptop, it's very cool, very light, very sturdy, and very thin. We'll see. Oh, and the MacBook Pro is 'FF' -- yes, I got it at 2.6 ghz.

  • Lol @ batman logo

  • elegant

  • where do u get your hair cut?

  • Regis, in the Boca mall. Ask for Melia. She is off on Thursdays and Sundays, and is in after 3 pm the other days. Tell her Alfred sent you. She will get a kick out of that.

  • that LED backlight has a weird refresh rate.

  • yeah it does lol

  • What's even more strange is that led's don't have refresh rates :|

  • O.o

  • you know, of all the reasons I tune into your videos, the main one is I can be guaranteed a laugh... keep the videos coming man (and good luck with that batman symbol ;))

  • Josiah, thanks for the comment. And the only thing with the damn Batman symbol in back of my head is that it shows the grey. Oh well....

  • "only steve jobs can sell air" lol

  • i love apple but the macbook air is over priced, thats there only product thats over priced too

  • yea i just went to the mall today and when i saw the macBook air, it was SO thin.

  • love the video. are you going to get the air?

  • Yes Jordan, I get air every time I inhale. Don't shank me on COD4.

  • i live in Boca Raton Florida im going to that apple store in about 30 min.

  • lol, GREAT VIDEO who was that guy just jumped in at the end

  • My friend Larry. I bumped into his wife and three daughters at the mall. When I told Larry about the MacBook Air, his oldest daughter said "Ohh, Daddy, I want one!" and I replied back with the classic "NO."

  • Deal or no deal LOL... Great video! :-)

    Alex.

  • I'm going to the apple store today, ill have to check one of those out.

  • Great video! What I have come to expect from your work!

    Why two MBAs?

  • Oh, I was joking about the "I'll take two..." LOL!

  • you werent serious about the batman symobl, ehhhhhhhhh!!!

    lol!

  • if I were to give that to my cousin, it would get sticky keys in like a week.

    hahaha

  • Hmm. He must do a lot of housework.

  • haha yeah

  • DAMMIT now i want to trade in my laptop.

  • Are you gonna get one of those to replace your pismo?

  • Hi Naton - I'll tell you, I was looking at an 'FF' class black MacBook to replace the Pismo. And then, yes, I looked at the air. But, damn, the Pismo just lives on. It looks like it is from the future, and the upgrades make it fully functional. This comment is coming to you -- from the damn ratty old Pismo!

  • lol soon my macbook will be an 'FF' class to handle a Techno Studio... Did you do an unboxing video of the Pismo?

  • Hey Al

That video was short but funny in that space of time, i like the quote "only steve jobs could sell air".

    Thanks G

  • LOL great video as usual :D

Those apple store people, cardboard things freak me out lol :D

  • I played with one at our apple store. It is thin but sturdy. It really is nice. But it just isn't a full featured laptop. I agree with Al. It is a second laptop. With only one usb port it can't even handle a portable hard drive (needs two for power) etc....

  • Apple = future

  • That is pretty damn thin..I'm yet to see it in person.

  • HaHa, Macbook Hair, only you Alfred lol! Thanks for the video response, and of course, nice hair cut. Danny

  • A well known person came through work today and everyone was more interested in his air then who he was. It was funny, one thing that he did say is that it is noticeably slower then a normal mac-book

  • They have them people at my store too!

    Batman logo...

    :D

    Cool Vids Al.

  • Nice laptop. Nice haircut. Nice video. This gives me an idea....

  • Haha Awesome video with a very clever title! I have yet to see the MacBook Air in person yet, but from your video it does look insanely thin. Oh and that window display is kind of freaky! Haha Is it just me?

    Nice haircut, too!

  • Hahaha, that damn security cable was lose when I picked up the MacBook Air at my Apple store to day and it set off the frekin alarm.

  • So you gonna get the Macbook Air?

It looks sleek and nice ;p

    5 stars!

  • woah the macbook air looks awesome
