  • what the fuck goes on with them 16 people ?!

    Get a life, really

    godlike

  • great, the search for Drewz454 has just begun, i'll get the coffee, someone get me tent and some firewood and we can camp out to nujabes's music during the search.

  • one day i'm just gonna lie on my roof and listen to nujabes all night

  • @NeeB33

    Can i join?

  • oh god why did he have to die he had such an eclectic style

every song of his is so different and yet all of it is so amazing

the world lost a creative genius

  • Such a special song!

  • Yokosuka is a city located in Kanagawa, Japan.

  • @kaze1002 Wasn't it damaged in the recent earthquake and tsunami?

  • @MoonshadowKati No. The U.S. 7th Fleet, based in Yokosuka, says on its Facebook page that it has no reports of injuries to personnel or damage to ships or equipment. The Yokosuka City Hall is monitoring the concentration of radiation in the air, water, livestock, and farm produce, also they are in rotating brownouts.

  • @kaze1002 Thank you Kaze!

  • Thumbs up if this song is stuck in your head.

  • I want to know who is Yokosuka.

  • how can you listen to music, if you keep talking about mainstream bullshits?

  • this is the best hightimes tune off all time... special!

  • Stop arguing mothafuckaz and enjoy the work of a music god.

  • This song makes me want to hold hands with everyone in the world universally so that we connect in spirit, in unison and in harmony. Won't someone take my hand?

    Thanks, Nujabes :)

  • @DoobyMastah i take it

  • This song is in my Top 5 Nujabes songs of all time making it in my Top 5 songs of all time. Many of Nujabes killer songs had Uyama in the wings just like this one. Those two packed a mad punch yo! RIP Seba Jun!

  • I love when people talk mainstream. In reference to one of the top comments. Truth be told, we live in an age where music has become life to a lot of people. Music in general is mainstream, bless us all. I don't care if I'm blazing a track that is adored by the masses or is something that is my little secret. The meaning can never change for me, no matter the exposure or fan base.

This song is great, just to be relevant. I'm glad Nujabes music means something to me.

  • @AlectheNinja amen.

  • Comment removed

  • I'd kick so many babies in the face to have this as the theme song to my life. . .

  • you ever notice how nujabes comment boards always have smarter people than on other comment boards? (usually) i don't think its coincidental that nujabes has smarter people.

  • @anandc1000 HA WRONG!!! I'm tah grade skool drop owt brah!!!

  • Great artists are characterized by the fact that they can hardly be assigned a genre. They create something entirely new and can't be compared to the rest. Nujabes was one of them.

  • define the word cool..

  • need good vibes--come here.

  • I just had the most random smile while listening to this song for some reason... I was in a really bad mood all day too. Dam.. just one of those things you cant explain.

  • I'm really open. I listen to all types of music. Literally. Jazz, rock, hip hop, classical, metal, country, western, Andean, Chinese, techno, you name it. But Nujabes has something for everything, and he took the win on my favorite.

  • @Uliman97 No joke man, I'm exactly the same!

  • @Uliman97 first time i actually seen someone who listens to All types of music..lol its funny cus i also have to put the word "literally" so ppl understand i mean ALL and i agree with you about Nujabes

  • @mizukikann101 Hahaha! Good to see I'm not the only one who's that way! :)

  • wrong video -.-'

  • give here the flowers!!!

  • I'm a Nujabes fanatic and I have to say in my personal opinion this was his best piece of art, the progression and harmony is flawless, my emotions flow when I hear this music....never heard anything this powerful in my entire life. Thank you Seba Jun you have made this world a better place!

  • This is the most beautiful letter ever

  • Yall just shut the fuck up and enjoy the song

  • a couple beats of mine, both inspired by nujabes:

    youtube.com/watch?v=IClhFQSMNbY

    youtube.com/watch?v=LWxQasY9-5M

  • SEARCH Chris Williams - Interlude (Me and You) GREAT LYRICS AND GREAT INSTRUMENTAL MADE BY THE LEGENDARY NUJABES. R.I.P SEBA JUN

  • Favorite one.

  • i hope to be listening to this when i die

  • AAAHHHHHH Got of work, rolled a blunt, opened my beer, sat down hit play and drifted into a state of peace.

  • Beautiful.....

  • i guess i'm the only female here?? =|

  • @funfact48 shut up bitch, there are no girls on the internets.

  • @funfact48 What? Nope.

  • I spent the first 8 years of my life growing up in Yokosuka. I guess the letters for me...

  • listenin to the beat my mind slips deep into eternal sleep

as i flow constant through material i see what is the real

abandoning all forces drifting through the courses becoming nothing but lifeless sources

    entering into nothingness.....

  • @drewz454 lol that is the most hipster thing I have ever read anyone type. Just because something becomes mainstream does not mean that it loses itsmeaning. If anything that statement is an insult to the song and its artist. Good music will always be appreciated. Whether the listener appreciates it as much as the next person is another matter, but popularity is definitely not a factor that determines the value of a song, much less a factor of corruption.

  • @TekkuKwo I'm sort of a hipster myself but when it comes to music I agree with you 100%.

  • This is the BEST letter I've ever read...or heard lol

  • @DoobyMastah Comments like yours really makes my day way better (:

  • @nzigen31 haha thanks! :)

  • @DoctirDoctur I was talking to my little sister the other day and she told me she only listened to 'hip-pop', as I like to call it, because she liked the instrumental but not the lyrics. In order to help, I point this out and make the suggestion that she should look at artists that were not in the spot light of main stream, but the underground.

  • @DoctirDoctur I understand that point, but what if they are only there because they hear something they like, but it is with the mainstream they are only getting a minuscule taste of what they are really wanting to hear, and all they need is someone to point them in the right direction?

  • @ drews454, No disrespect, but by branching out and letting others hear what true hip hop is, you open their hearts and minds to something that is pure hip hop and they will lose interest in the mainstream ChickenShit.

  • @RCduno I totally agree with you but I also agree with drews just because the fans he is talking about they are just band wagon fans and it take away from the purity and soul of a song like this its good that it would spread to mainstream but for people like you and me who are willing to search for true hip-hop, true soul to me it shows that we are not bandwagon fans and we are willing to search for what we love.

  • Woahh... I'm playing the same song at the same time, but at different times in the song and it sounds so sweet!

  • how come every good song has people talking about music appreciation

  • @susanmgirl Well, maybe if you pay attention to the lyrics in some of his work, you'd understand why we are not taking this good music for granted and instead emphasizing how inspiring and emotional the music is...He is just that great that people are left in a good mood to say good things about him and his music

  • nujabes believed music was something that would make people smile and would touch there soul and if that mainstream stuff makes them happy then i think nujabes would approve of it too

  • shit beat, Nujabes has left us with some amazing music to reflect on and for that, i thank you.

  • <3

  • I can't explain how much I love this.

    RIP Nujabes.

  • 16 people had planted the car accident

really a gonna kill you all!!

  • ...that was one awesome letter.

  • Am I the only one to feel like the instruments are really teasing me?

  • Comment removed

  • this is not by nujabes this was produced by uyama hiroto

  • those 16 people never got a letter from Yokosuka..

  • @Yamskiman People like yourself seem to give such a big damn about the dislike button don't ya?

  • @ThirdEyeBlind33 not really.. I just love Nujabes' music :)

  • @Yamskiman I didn't got a letter from Yokosuka eather. But still I like this!!! A lot!!!

  • @Yamskiman word

  • Love

  • Hey people. I've been searching for Nujabes's Metaphorical Music CD for weeks now and haven't been able to find one. I finally have the funds to afford it, but can't find a viable seller. I've tried to go to Hydeout Productions but it's in Japanese and I can't make an account because I'm not from Japan. Can anyone help? I'm extremely wanting to here this CD in my car.

  • @xIJOS3RAMOSIx OMG, it will seriously be wonderful to play those beautiful music while driving! :0

Why dont you simply download these tracks instead of buying them ?

  • @SugarCandiesLuv I feel the need to buy hard copies of good music lol If it's a good album done by a respected artist, I try to buy the actual album haha Just a little thing I do

  • @xIJOS3RAMOSIx

well nujabes isn't alive anymore, so it supports him in no way at all

and typically buying the hardcopies doesnt help much either. going to shows and buying the merch at the shows is the best way to support the groups, but for nujabes, the best way is to just listen to it. he lives through the music, and im sure he doesn't care how you listen to it. just that you do

  • @TruNikkaz

What about the people who recorded the music, who mixed and mastered it, and what about his family? Just because he's dead doesn't necessarily mean that all the money he would've made suddenly disappears or goes straight to the label (though this does happen sometimes) There are more people involved with making and putting out music than you may be aware of.

Not trying to say you should always legally purchase music nor condoning pirating, just saying!

  • @blackmagi2

    1. nujabes mixed and mastered the music himself

    2. those people get paid when this is done, they no longer make money after the album sells unless it's some retardedly huge thing like lil wayne or britney spears, where the producers actually make the music themselves

  • @xIJOS3RAMOSIx i got it from discogs. the sellers are good and i even got the new digipak version

  • @xIJOS3RAMOSIx just copy it from youtube with mp3 converter

  • 1337 likes? :D

  • Man, this is jamming' ^ ^

  • rip nujabes ♫

  • Those poor souls in Yokosuka. The ones in US Military uniform. This music would be wasted on you cunts.

-Former US Military based in Yokosuka,

  • nujabes isn't dead...just press play

  • @Slayer100 ERR... shutup, I don't want to just dictate what he would or wouldn't like, but he'd laugh in your face if you said that to him

  • Dope..rip seba Jun.. Just bought his cd at tower records in shibuya..

  • i want a letter from yokosuka! :'(

  • @rockstarvanny this song is the letter :)

  • wheres the italian guy

  • I really can't even begin to describe the beauty and surrealism found in all of Jun Seba's songs. This is pure heartfelt soul music.

  • soooooo good

  • DAMN that must have been one hell of a letter, Nujabes awesome!

  • This is my absolute favorite song to chill with. R.I.B

  • Comment removed

  • @bloodstix6 a feather that thought different??? counting the stars all of the sudden? o_O

  • Id rather this music get less attention than the people that have bieber feaver .... Yes we want the word of underground to reach out and teach other than the mainstrem b.s that gets millions of hits but the songs have no meaning but think about it do you really want those so called fans to come and corrupt the thing we love which is true hip hop from the mind, heart, and the soul its better to have a few people who know how to actually listen to music.

  • @drewz454 i agree like i want my freinds to know about nujabes and alot of underground but I dont want this to get burned out

  • @drewz454 I'd rather let music stay underground .. it's UNDERGROUND for a reason. Let the mainstream bullshit happen and let all those people out there get "trapped" in. Nothing but followers cause they can't find themselves. Let it be underground .. it's better that way.

  • @drewz454 truth dude. Nujabes (Jun Seba) wanted to create his place his "space between two worlds" not fall into mainstream. Lets all sit back enjoy his songs and drink (or if you cant drink soda) in his honor. This is his letter to us from Yokosaka.

  • @G3GabeL I would MUCH rather smoke to this. There's no comparison.

  • @drewz454 manipulation makes money

  • @drewz454 Music appreciation :)

  • @drewz454 it's interesting but guys justin beiber is rnb not hip-hop

  • Comment removed

  • @xXxThePhenomenonxXx you know "HATEVER" doesn't argue my point you're going to have to provide more reason why he "SUCKS ASS" "and THIS IS BETTER"

  • @drewz454 i completely agree, pity from a far but never become pitied.

  • @drewz454 Word

  • @drewz454 i completely understand as to what your getting at and coming from but by saying that mainstream fans are unworthy to listen to nujabes and others similar to his work is plain out selfish. music is music simple as that but we all over analyze and compare shit way too much from artists, genres, and the most annoying to me underground vs mainstream when really if your a true fan of music atleast to me its either GOODorBAD, we're all different so just lighten upjehovahwitness hiiipower(:

  • @drewz454 So true bro, so true

  • @drewz454 So hipster it hurts. I remember when I was 10 and it was cool to hate the backstreet boys. I like Nujabes and I dont like Justin Beiber, but people have different taste in music. You are not above anyone.

  • @HarryTheTurtle Yea I remember those days. Somehow people like they have to have current pop music to appreciate underground music. I think that is just ignorance and immaturity. Nujabes (RIP) is great but that doesnt no one else is.

  • or Create a video response @HarryTheTurtle Yea I remember those days. Somehow people like they have to hate current pop music to appreciate underground music. I think that is just ignorance and immaturity. Nujabes (RIP) is great but that doesnt no one else is.

  • @TheBetterSalad sorry

If for the people of this planet this is bad music I'm from Neptune!

  • Justin Beiber has 100,000,000+ views and Nujabes only gets 470,000?

What has this world come to?

  • @ColorFace1116 He tried to avoid mainstream and im glad, It ruins you. I prefer Underground > Mainstream anyday.

  • we can summon justin bieber for nujabes(r.i.b. nujabes

  • King of Beatzz

  • I heard the story behind this song the other day. Apparently Nujabes was writing letters to a lady/girl from Yokosuka and then one day the letters stopped.

I dont know how true that story is but you can definitly tell that there is some sadness in this song.

    RIP Nujabes

  • @yumyum2k5

I logged on just to thumbs up that comment. I don't log on very often. If that story is true then it really is heart breaking and this song's meaning just got that much deeper. I wonder what happened to the girl..

  • R.I.P. , what you gave to us is something we can't give back sadly, we'll never forget you.
