The magic is very clear by close watching. The first switch operated will always lights the first light, second switch operated lights the second one and so on.
@vrbollu I agree with you, at 4:00 he pretty much gives away the trick by flipping on the switches. I think the first operated switch will light the first and so on, then the order is memorized by the device. The memory is cleared if all the lights are off for a certain amount of time (10 sec or so).
Well I have no knowledge in electronics so I couldnt duplicate this but I know exactly what its doing... Its pretty obvious if you pay attention to the order he does things in... Notice that the FIRST time he flicks the switches after the bulbs are changed he does it on order left to right, then random after that.. Every time.. hmmmmm =)
