I happen to think it is highly amusing to say that about the democrats being sissies. Hillary Clinton is no sissy. Nancy Pelosi is no sissy. Maxine Waters is no sissy. Eleanor Holmes Norton is no sissy. It's the Republican men that suck the sissy cigar on this place. Trust me on this the tide is turning. Watch out for the indeep-end-itz.
i love how the candidates with least likelihood to actually win say some of the better things because they don't have to worry about offending or upsetting supporters or the electorate
Yup, great music. I'm ashamed of myself that I missed all this shit when it first got rolling. I have refused to watch any TV for over 3 years now, especially CNN, Fox News, CBS, ABC, NBC, MSNBC. Apparently, in missing out on the mental conditioning, I've also missed out on some real patriots trying to do some good. Although the ratio is still probably about 1000/1.
I really have to say, that although I'm pretty stoked that Obama is in there and Bush is gone -- I'd love to have GRAVEL, PAUL, or KUCINICH in there to actually create some seriously real change. This is the real talk of change.
oh yeah actually, as shitty as the media is i saw Dennis on a local news station and it was cool because he was going to be debating with someone but that person did not show up so i just saw/listened to him for an hour he's the main reason why my head got twisted "WTF? there is politicians like this??" haha so Dennis is definitely great I just wish he had said something when they first excluded Mike from the debates dennis and mike and nader keep it unreal
i'm also a big, big fan of dennis kucinich. it may come as a surprise, but as a canadian i do greatly respect certain american citizens and politicians such as MIke Gravel, Ralph Nader, Dennis Kucinich, etc. for their efforts.
Most of America does not want to be at war and the majority of the people do not want to have a country in 10 trillion dollors worth of debt while they are faced with living in a Police State and a completely corrupted system! I send my blessings to Mike.
he says nothing like that. he simply doesn't ASSUME that iran has some nuclear weapons program going, and threaten to nuke foreign countries based on such assumptions. it's appalling.
It's ironic that Maher recognizes that we need an honest candidate, but then calls Obama and Hillary good candidates? I still love Maher, but I've lost some respect for him over the years.
I really like Mike Gravel. It's sad his party won't take him seriously, because if they did, then they (the Dems) might actually stand a chance of running the country in an intelligent fashion. If I weren't voting for Ron Paul, I would vote for him. He and Paul are being slighted. And it's criminal.
Wake up people. Banning any type of gun, is just banning them from the law abidding citizens. The criminals will still have them. It's like drugs, there illegal, but are everywhere. Think about it. There isn't clauses to our constitution. It is our constitution how its written and no more.
Fox is not excluding raun paul. they might anyways because he's dying out there. i just hang my hea din shame when i see the republican party in a mess cuz the democrats fucked with their heads. c'mon Bush help you're fellow Republicans soon!
Gravel is a fair choice but he is not a completely pro-liberty/freedom candidate that he may appear. For example his stance on guns is restrictive to the point of banning guns. and i'm fairly sure universal healthcare coupled with his stance on abortion would not allow me to avoid my tax dollars subsidizing that medical procedure:(
Hey asshole, that procedure is not subsidized. GET THE MUCK OUT YOUR EARS AND THE SAND OUT OF YOU EYES IDIOT!! A womans choice to abortion is NONE OF YOUR GOD DAMN BUSINESS!! WHEN PASS SOMETHING THE SIZE OF A BOWLING OF THE TIP OF YOUR DICK, THEN YOU CAN SAY SOMETHING. UNTIL THEN LEAVE WOMEN THE FUCK ALONE.
I never said it WAS subsidized however when the democrats socialist health care system is in place there's nothing to stop MY tax dollars(which would MAKE IT MY BUSINESS) being used for a procedure i disagree with. I'm not sure where this rage of yours is comming from but I DO leave women alone i don't picket clinics i just want healthcare to stay private. I'll keep out of abortion as long as pro-choice politicians keep out of my wallet. i think thats fair.
As for his healthcare plan, DO SOME ACTUAL READING ON IT. Maybe this is way this country has a high illiteracy rate. And you are still on this bullshit about subsidzed abortion which does not happen. And like I said you are a hipocrit because true freedom means you stay the FUCK OUT OF A WOMAN'S HEALTH DECISIONS. STOP listening to RUSH AND GET THE MUCK YOUR HEAD. ITS ASSHOLES LIKE YOU WHO HAVE TURNED THIS COUNTRY INTO SHIT.
Your tax dollars are being used to kill innocent citizens in IRAQ, does that bother you. What you doing about that, asshole. Concern yourself with that instead of the womans body.
Unless it can live outside the womb, no it isnt. And when you pass something the size of a bowling ball off the tip of your dick, then you can say something, until then stfu.
The NI4D is as much about freedom as you can get. Reining in the govt and empowering the citizens. As far as guns are concerned, THEY ARE NOT FUCKING TOYS, with ownerships comes responsibility. And 2nd only guarantees a right to a organized milisha, not for individuals to own guns. Gravel is not taken you gun away, ask Blackwater on that.
Restrictions on Guns is not banning them. Do like the idea of violate felons owning guns. Or severe mental patients have one. Or how about Assult weapons. Why does anyone need to have those. Its the police who advocates against those.
Great work, Mike Gravel is one of my hero's.. I was working on posting these youtube videos.. Mike Gravel is the only qualified person to be president..
No, it's just whether or not someone is gay doesn't matter to me. actually, ron paul does support gay rights. he wants the government out of marriage and says, with regards to the military, that only dispruptive sexual behavior should be dealt with- homo or hetero.
i guess well have to settle for politics as usual. Gravel is being shut out of the debates for reasons unknown, but one can easily speculate that it's because he brings the most truthful and aggressive message to the table against candidates with nothing more than an image.
you could EASILY get off of oil in five years, if you put effort towards it. unfortunately, this kind of thinking won't catch on with people such as yourselves or those who enjoy the creature comforts of depleting the resource.
Indeed. These changes are all possible, people just need to start being morally and socially responsible.
Unfortunately,it seems people don't want to make even minor sacrifices any more. They'd rather enjoy an overly cushy life for 5 minutes and then meet a final horrible demise than to work for 5 minutes to have an even better and longer life.
I don't think you understand, this is more then just giving up your SUV'sand using the bus!
For a petroleum free America within the next five years, we will need to collectively give up meat, and to sell our houses and move into apartments.
I'm not joking, I'm dead serious. If you are a vegan living in an apartment close to your place of work or school, good for you. That MIGHT be enough. If not, you are not doing enough to reach Gravel's goals, peroid.
You are very wise, a good example of people not being able to cut back, are the rich jerks in N. Carolina/Georgia who are drilling their own wells so they can water their lawns and flowers and golf courses further depleting their dangerously low water levels...soon they may be dying of thirst because the drought there could go on for years.
For the record, I don't own a car, I bike walk to use the bus to get around town.
But seriously how could we get off oil in 5 years? Wind power? LOL even the strongest advocates of wind power won't go that far! Solar power? Do we have any examples of a society that is run largely on solar power? Ethanol? Do you have any idea how much petroleum is used to produce that crap?!?!
A combination of all of the above....I live in Arizona (both windy and incredibly sunny) we could power ourselves off these natural resources, but we don't....because there is no incentive...the gov't should be putting trillions of dollars into us getting off oil, not attacking and invading countries because we want control of their oil.
Fission? It takes us 5 years to build a plant! Not to mention Uranium is not a renewable resource, nor is it entirely pro environment! Clean coal? It's still dirtier then what we have now!
France dedicated itself to being energy independent thirty years ago and only now are they getting close! And they're a fraction of the size of America. Not to mention more urban!
How would this country function? How will we transport food across this country? We get our food from all across the country, apples from Washington, Strawberries from California, grains from the midwest, beef from Texas and Colorado.
Of course, the oil companies and the car dealers don't want us to get off OIL, they want the money....to hell with them....at least give the American people a choice...if we want to drive an electric car. The Corporate Terrorist are destroying this country...
it makes me so happy to see people supporting both mike gravel and ron paul and understanding that america's government IS broken. it's so refresing to see candidates who keep it real and have the guts to say what's really going on.
I love Gravel, an ideal contest would be Gravel vs Paul. It would'nt matter who would win because they are both good, decent, intelligent men who have the wisdom of age.
Sadly it will most likely be candidates funded by the globalist regime, it will be like Hitler vs Stalin. Which genocidal maniac was the least worst?
America is the most powerful country in the world. We are all doomed by her fall into fascism.
Can anyone see a bigger matter at hand? The National Initiative (ni4d dot us). That is real change. If we don't vote this through, our representative gov't will continue to be CORRUPT. We, the People, need to be a check in this equation. Please vote now. ni4d dot us
Put it this way: If the democratic ticket is Clinton/Obama or Clinton/Edwards etc -- you will likely see a lot of Gravel supporters looking to Paul for honesty. Until then, they intend to support their candidate.
I would kindly and respectfully ask Gravel supporters to come over and help Ron Paul. We are going to accomplish the same things on Foreign Policy ... the Biggie. Gravel doesn't have the money or the momentum. He won't beat Hillary. On the other hand, Republican voters are sick of the War and we have a strong base. Please consider joining Ron Paul's campaign. We don't need Hillary or Giuliani in office.
Ron is awesome on paper, but he doesn't present himself well during the debates. He comes off as too emotional & almost whiney. While I like his ideas, I don't think he stands a chance to win this election without delivering his message in a better way. Gravel also is a very smart guy, but came off as a nut compared to the calm, polished delivery of the others.
Actually, I think it's the opposite. Ron Paul is the most intelligent, consistent, practical and much more moral in comparison to the other candidates on the Repulican side. He delivery from what I have seen is always the most coherent and professional.
I love Mike, but the comments on here are right, he didn;t get the momentum hed needs. I am 100% Ron Paul because that seems the only chance to put some honesty back in government.
I think people will vote for who's popular which is sad. It comes down to who your peers seem as cool. Or who your office mates are talking about around the coffee table. Good luck to Mike.
I hate when they say its American "imperialism", as if what theyre doing is for the benefit of the country. It has nothing to do with us(besides maybe weakening us) and everything to do with the new world order.
People would have the time to get informed about the candidates if the Media did it's job in our society, but it doesn't.
More People know about Anna Nicole Smith's baby daddy issues that know about the best candidates that are seeking the highest office in their government.
If that doesn't qualify as negligence on the Media's part, nothing ever will.
i am jordanian and if mike gravel were to become the prime minister of jordan i will be the first to say yes.

it makes me so happy to see people supporting both mike gravel and ron paul and understanding that america's government IS broken. it's so refresing to see candidates who keep it real and have the guts to say what's really going on.

I seriously think if Paul and Gravel ran together they could win.

Can anyone see a bigger matter at hand? The National Initiative (ni4d dot us). That is real change. If we don't vote this through, our representative gov't will continue to be CORRUPT. We, the People, need to be a check in this equation. Please vote now. ni4d dot us
It's legit

Ron does sound whiney...but its his passion that got me to see the light of what is really going in our broken gov't.

Gravel is cool, but it's too late. He has no money no momentum. America let him go. You can still vote for Ron Paul tho. He at least has a chance.

Sorry, animateclay, that negative was me by mistake. I was trying to give a thumbs up. Give it time and mike will be a household name AGAIN!!!

I think people will vote for who's popular which is sad. It comes down to who your peers seem as cool. Or who your office mates are talking about around the coffee table. Good luck to Mike.

He is a great guy but he has know chance to get the Deocratic Nomination. Hillary has already been chosen by the Neo-Cons and the New World Order.
Vote Ron Paul....Switch to Republican so you can vote for this courageous man.

I hate when they say its American "imperialism", as if what theyre doing is for the benefit of the country. It has nothing to do with us(besides maybe weakening us) and everything to do with the new world order.
Honkyrappa 4 years ago
People are more likely to vote for someone who seems like he/she is winning. Hillary's game is the media. Gravel's game is the people.
s0ngcatcher 4 years ago
Good guy. Not enough time to beat Hilary.
capobdi 4 years ago
Times really not the issue though, is it.
The issue is systematic corruption.
