@dizolve13 let' go back in time - leave all of us in Africa so we can fight with other tribes and eat eachother....the rest of you could stay in england and bow to the king...and many indian tribes can continue their bloody battles across the americas...we'll let all the kings keep all the money while the people do hard labor building the palaces and starve. the lucky ones get sacrificed to the wonderful gods....sounds like utopia to me!

that led us to be in this beautiful land. I dont want to go back in time. This is the promised land, we just need to guard against the evil that once was in the rear view mirror.
I watched the Special this week on the founders and their secrets, and never cease to be in awe at their foresight and bravery. They gave us this dream of freedom, if we can keep it.

@RockTheFacts your outlook on history is quite twisted.The Egyptians were African and they have accomplished feats that modern man can not. No matter how you cut it, murder is murder, and enslavement is enslavement. If you can justify murdering and enslaving innocent people then you are sadly mistaken and there is no way to reason with some one like you. If you are against murder then you must acknowledge murders that happened yesterday and before if the deaths created someones current wealth.

@dizolve13 There is no need to go back in time, there are innocent people being killed in Iraq, Afghanistan, and Pakistan. I do not agree with killing anyone anywhere. But why is it that people are so concerned when our own die, but we don't seem to care at all when innocent blood is shed elsewhere? These people are just like you and I, they do not deserve to die because they weren't lucky enough to be born in your country!

Ironically, you guys (or your dad more likely) play the race card a lot. Each continent and its people would've likely evolved out of primitive and unfair living w/o imperialism. The pattern & flow of the world and its peoples is liberalism, i.e., modernism, knowledge, and an ever-opening mind. Your family's a living example of that. It's foolish to think every culture would've stayed exactly the same as they were 200+ years ago if not for invasion, thievery, and imperialism.
