Here in the UK christianity is not as oppressive as in America. I have visited USA a few times over the last 10 years and Americans generally seem to take quite a dim view of atheists. That is NOT cool.

It's a topic I have a lot of interest in as an impassioned atheist, and I would like to point out some things that all religious people should consider- 1-The bible was written by people who sought to control society FACT. 2-There is no proof that Jesus even existed, even is he did the Bible got him all wrong. 3-Anyone who who is rasied in a religious household is at a sever disadvantage to think about religion objectively and thus realistically.
