It's possible that he didn't know it at the beginning, but it is clear that he understands it now. Obama knows he has inherited an empire and is by default an emperor and Afghanistan, among other examples, shows that he is more than willing to behave like one.

It's a great talk, and thanks for bringing it to us, but -- boy, splitting things into parts like this can really be annoying. Sometimes I wish this channel were more like the "talkingsticktv" channel here on YouTube, which posts half-hour- and hour-long videos in their entirety.

Hmm.  Then I'm baffled. The only other thing I can think of, is if they're posting the same videos to other video sharing sites with limits on video length/size - they're saving time on editing by making "one size fits all" content.

Otherwise, it'd be nice if they could simply run these things as single postings.

It's just a revenue-sharing arrangement YouTube offers some channels who bring in a certain volume of viewers to the website. By all accounts, it's not quite enough to amount to pocket change.

however, it's important to note that i think TheRealNews has a modified setup. maybe it's because they are classified as "non-profit". TRN has no ads on any of their videos, as they refuse to be corporate sponsored in any way. I am not positive, but i think "non-profit" gives you some of the benefits of being a partner without having to use the google ad program.
