Argh, From the begining .. you said go to start, accessories, system tools then 'character map' ? i dont have the one after system tools. . .how do i get 'character map' ? .. im not sure if i heard you well but i heard character map.

How do i get that?

@iiTiiZZLE That's correct - on Windows XP, the character map is under System Tools, which is under Accessories.

If you can't find it for some reason (my guess would be you're not running as an administrator, though I can't imagine why something as simple as a character map would be blocked for non-admins), you can find a character map for Windows online here:

You can change the maxlength to whatever you like, but the default is 40, and if it's TOO long then you can type off of the screen by accident.

If you mean the resolution, use whatever you run Halo at.

Right click the shortcut, hit properties, in the target box add a space, then type "-window" (without the quotes).

Hit apply then ok, and launch Halo. It should be in a window.
