Kontakt Multi Output and Live External Instrument Device

Loudon, Once I've set up Kontakt, or any other multi-timbral instrument, in Live as you have demonstrated, complete with all the routing, is there a way to save that configuration as a preset I can just drag onto a set?

@nwlad1 well, in the browser you can open up other projects as if they were folders in your operating system and drag tracks from them into your current project, so though I havent' tried it I imagine once you set it up in one project you could drag it into another one.

Half-way solution: Apple + Option + P (Hides and Opens Plugin Window)

....This only works after you click the wrench with your mouse first.

@rhymeshot Oh, that is cool, thanks for the tip, works well! Just have to get into the habit of clicking on the wrench the first time, then using that keycommand all the time.

Do you know of a shortcut for opening and closing the Kontakt AU/VST in Ableton?

Clicking on the wrench icon and x? There's got to be a faster way...

@rhymeshot hmmm, not that I know, if you find out a way let me know, is the wrench MIDI or key mappable, I don't think so, but I don't have live in front of me.

@rhymeshot Looks like the plugin hides when you select another track, and shows back up when you get back to the track that it is in, not a solution in all situations I know, but a start I guess.

@CeciDJing yea, I know, something strange with my screen recording software. It is just a bit annoying, you can still understand everything I say. Didn't think it was worth re-recording the entire video or doing the entire voice over again.
